Since 1995, Wild Bear Nature Center is the only all ages
nonprofit nature center in Boulder County. Located at the
headwaters of Boulder County’s watershed, Nederland
Colorado, Wild Bear connects thousands of people annually to
the natural world. Wild Bear Nature Center is open almost
every day throughout the year where visitors can engage in
hands-on exhibits about mountain nature.
Since 2001, Wild Bear has engaged the regional community in
celebrating Earth Day! This year Wild Bear has extended its
celebration to the entire weekend, WILD EARTH WEEKEND.
We know that Earth Day is EVERY DAY, but this is our gift to
the earth, to bring people from all over the region together to
celebrate this magnificent planet. Enjoy hands-on nature with
leaders in the environmental field, enjoy earth artists and create,
learn and enjoy performances and loads of fun!
We thank our sponsors for making Wild Earth Day and many
other nature activities possible at Wild Bear Nature Center.
