Conservation Camp
Thursday June 30th ~ 9:00—3:00 ~ Ages 6-11
Aumiller Park, Bucyrus
Join us for a day of nature and conservation fun!
*Macro Invertebrates! (That’s catching bugs in the stream)
*Hike thru the Woods learning which tree is which!!
*Wetland studies, we will look for animal homes!
*Games, Crafts, Laughs, and Make New Friends!!

Registration for each camp will be open to the first 30 registrants.
Registration deadline for each camp will be June 3rd, or until all spaces are full.
There is a $20.00 registration fee for each camp, which will cover camp T-shirt,
crafts and lunch. Lunch will be pizza, chips, fruit and lemonade.

Conservation Camp
Additional Information
June 30th campers can be dropped off at the Friendship Shelter House (the shelter by the minor league softball
and baseball fields) at 9:00 A.M and picked up at the same shelter at 3:00 P.M.
Should it be raining on June 30th, camp will be postponed until July 1st.
Registration forms and fee need to be sent or delivered to:
Crawford SWCD, 3111 State Route 98, Bucyrus OH 44820.
Parents some things to consider sending with your child:
 Sun screen
 Insect repellant
 Water shoes or boots – for stream activities
 Towel – for stream activities
 Change of shorts, socks and shoes – because of stream activities
 Bag or backpack to keep it all in
Lunch will be pizza, chips, fruit and lemonade. Or you can choose to supply your child with a sack lunch from
home.
This will be a day of outdoor learning and exploring, please make sure your child wears appropriate foot wear,
no sandals, open toed or open backed shoes please.

10:00 -11:00 = Woods Hike
11:00 - 12:00 =Macro Invertebrates
12:00 – 12:30 = Lunch

June 16th campers can be dropped off at Pfeifer Dairy Farm, 2348 Shafer Rd, just North of Bucyrus off of State
Route 19, at 9:00 A.M and picked up at the farm at 3:00 P.M. The campers will be dropped off and picked up at
the shop, which is behind the house, not the milking parlor.
Registration forms and fee need to be sent or delivered to:

This is a working farm, NO SANDALS
