The centre opened in 1984 and has been expanded and updated multiple times - the most recent expansion was in 2016. Kvadrat has established a strong position extending far beyond the immediate area around Sandnes/Sola/Stavanger. There are 162 stores spread across multiple sectors, however clothing/ shoes/fashion is the largest individual industry represented with around 70 stores.
