Welcome t o our first Cultural Conference!
As we grow our school, we are learning that we represent many
countries here at CAAS. Our students an d staff believe that we all
need to learn about the cou ntries we are from. Today is important
because it teaches us the value of cultural diversity and enables us
to share and celebrate our heritage. The bonds of our school family
are strengthened by understanding, mu tual respect and appreciation
for each othe r’s cultural background. I am proud of the work that
we’ve accomplished at CAAS to promote these values.
Special thanks to Ms. Deloatch for her coordination of this project
and to all of our teachers and staff who contributed to the
culmination of this e vent. The work that has been accomplished
with respect to this project will become a collection for our next
book.
Thank you for your participation in our Cultural Conference and for
contributing to the values we stand for here at CAAS.
“Always remember that you are absolutely unique. Just like everyone else”
As quoted Science and Soul (2008) by Charles Birch
