Girls’ Adventures in Math
This is a team math competition for girls. There is a lower level one for teams consisting of up to
four girls in grades 3 – 5. There is an upper level for teams of up to four girls in grades 6 – 8.
Kansas State University will host a site for this competition on Saturday, April 22. We invite
teams of girls to compete in this competition. Teams will meet in the math commons room (CW
121) on the K-State campus at 9:30. It will last until noon. The contest features visually striking
cartoons with math problems. In addition to the competition, we will offer fun games for the girls
to play after the first session.
