Calling all budding artists!
As part of this year’s Whitefriars In Bloom festivities, we will be staging
a public exhibition to showcase the works of local amateur artists, in
association with art supplies shop Cowling & Wilcox. Simply paint or
draw a picture with the theme ‘Wellbeing’ and you could win some great
prizes, and have your work displayed in Whitefriars! This year we have
two categories – 18 and over and under 18.
Pictures must be your own original work and can be in any medium (except
photographic) up to a maximum size of A1 (841mm x 594mm), including any mount.
Hand in your picture to:

and attach this completed entry form
securely to the back.
1st prize: £100 voucher

Terms and conditions: No purchase necessary. Prizes are as stated – there is no cash equivalent.
All entries must be received in-store by 5.30pm on 1 July 2016. In submitting their picture,
entrants are confirming that it is their own original work and that, if selected, agree for it to be
used in publicity material for Whitefriars in Bloom (posters, website, banners, social media, etc),
and for it to be displayed in a public exhibition to be held in Whitefriars during summer 2016.
Copyright and ownership will continue to be retained by the artist, who may offer the picture for
sale during the exhibition. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence can be entered
into. Employees of Whitefriars and Whitefriars stores, and their families, households and agents,
are not eligible to enter.
