BUILD A BETTER WORLD
2017 Summer Reading Program
Summer Reading at Hoover Library is an annual program that
brings children and families into the library for reading and activities.
•Sign up for the Summer Reading Program anytime from Saturday, May 20
to Friday, July 14.
•Read anything you choose, just for fun!
•Record your number of pages read on hooverlibrary.beanstack.org or
using a reading log.
•Stop by one of the desks in the Children’s Department as you reach a goal to redeem prize ticket.
•Readers will receive a prize ticket at 200, 500, 1,000 & 1,500 pages and every 1,000 pages after 1,500. There is a 10,000 page limit. Readers will also receive a certificate at 500 pages as well an entry for the bike drawing.
•Begin receiving prize tickets on Thursday, June 1.
•Prize room opens Thursday, June 1.
•Last day to redeem prizes is Wednesday, August 2.
•Bike drawing will take place on Thursday, August 3.
