Monthly Prayer Meeting
Tuesday 7th February 7.30pm
Prayer meeting usually on the first Tuesday of each month for the whole church in
church. There are no cell/small group meetings on this day.
Monthly Prayer Meeting for Prisoners
Wednesday 1st February 7.30pm
Much to pray for as the situation in prisons is so tense and dangerous. At
4 Dockray Hall Road. Details contact Jenny Ottewell.
CTiKD Monthly prayer for Kendal
Monday 6th February 5.30-6pm
At Market Place Books to pray together for Kendal, our District and far beyond.
Week of Prayer for Christian Unity 18-25th January
Pray and support any events planned, especially in other churches. See notice
board for details of exchange of pulpits.
PCC Secretary
We urgently need a new PCC secretary, if you take and produce minutes, please
consider doing this. Ask the office for more info.
Mission Aviation Fellowship
As was announced recently, David Parsons is now the church link for MAF and is in
direct contact with our link Mission Partners in Chad, Sam & Abby Baguma. There
is a need of concentrated prayer, details of which are on the yellow prayer sheet.
David would like to build up a list of interested supporters who will receive the
regular emailed prayer letters from Sam and Abby. If you would like to be added
to the list, please contact David by email [email protected]
Jumble Sale
Saturday 28th January 12noon
Janet Sullivan is organising a Jumble Sale which will be here in the church lounge
in aid of Rebuild Mexico. If you have any jumble please could you keep it for us
until the week of 23rd January and bring it to church between 9-5 Wednesday and
Thursday or 9-7 on Friday 27th January. Due to PAT testing regs we cannot
accept electrical goods. Thank you for your support.
Women’s Breakfast
February 11th 9.00am
All ladies welcome to this Saturday morning feast of a continental breakfast and
great fellowship in the church lounge. Our speaker in February is Jenny McIntyre.
Thursday Toddlers
Coffee Makers - more people needed to make coffee and toddler drinks. Could
you do it once a month 10-12pm. See Rachel McLellan.
Helpers - more helpers needed 9-12pm. Could you do it for a term? See Wendy
Young or Christine Burgess.

Food Bank Request
After five years 'Lakeland' are no longer able to supply large, strong carrier bags
for the food bank to give out to their customers. If you have surplus strong bags,
plastic, linen, hessian, etc please leave at the collection point. Thank you.
