Meet Ice Cream For Breakfast Ambassador:
Nathan Buck of Smithfield, North Carolina
Nathan Buck came to Give Kids The World Village in April 2014 with his
mother, Jennifer, father, Wesley and sister, Grace. Nathan said his “moment to melt for” was interacting with the GKTW
volunteers. From the volunteers inside the Castle of Miracles to those
assisting with the Enchanted Carousel, they made his entire family not
want to return home. Between the swimming, nightly events and eating at the Ice Cream
Palace, it was hard to get Nathan and his big sister Grace to leave the
Village.
Nathan is an energetic six-year-old who loves baseball and Batman. Born
with only half a heart, he has already endured multiple surgeries. He will
face even more operations in the future, yet does so with never-ending
hope.
Even though Nathan was only here for a week,
his magnetic personality drew everyone in.
