Good Neighbors International (GNI) is an international humanitarian and development organization with its
headquarters located in Seoul, Republic of Korea. GNI is also a non-profit, non-governmental organization
and in General Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC).
GNI coordinates emergency relief, medical programs, educational and training programs, as well as
community development projects, which enhance the capacity of individual beneficiaries, participants,
employers and host organizations, in order to meet the opportunities and challenges of a changing Myanmar.
Good Neighbors International (Myanmar) is currently seeking motivated, efficient, experienced and dedicated

Position Summary
Support CDPs in operational activities and ensure the implementation is aligned with organizational strategies.
This position's primary responsibility is ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing technical inputs for
the organization's operational programme.
Working with the management team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of
organizational strategies, policies and practices. This position will also interact with the donor agencies and
public relation.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Organize PPF Team in cooperation and coordination with Design Project & Monitoring
Evaluation

Develop new community development project (CDP) in the whole process

Manage every activity in OD section of CDP (education, medical care, water & sanitation, income
generation, community development, social education etc) in cooperation and coordination with
responsible staffs of Head Office and CDP.

Develop and manage special fund project in the whole process

Oversee special fund (Government Fund, Local Fund, ODA Fund, Special Fund, Designated
Fund) in general section

Develop and manage Income Generation strategies in collaboration with CDP Managers and
officers

Prepare and check approval letter of head office and CDPs
Partnership/Network

In collaboration with Government counterparts, NGOs, Companies and other partners,
contributes substantively to the design of the country program and its component projects in line
with Government priories and according to Good Neighbors International (Myanmar) program
policies and procedures.

Coordination, networking, and representation of GN Myanmar with donors, NGOs, UN
Agencies, Local and national government bodies and other relevant bodies
Cooperation & Coordination


Develop Project Proposal Form (PPF) for program expansion in collaboration with team members
Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational
excellence.

Assist CDP in the development of Plan of Action (POA)

Coordinate with CDP Managers to ensure that program policies and procedures support the
mission statement of GNI and project goals.

Support Need Assessment , Monitoring and Evaluation, and Research for project advancement

Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of organizational program activities in cooperation and
coordination with CDP Managers and other relevant staffs

Organize capacity programs for the staffs, community committees and community members

Integrate DRR, Child Protection and Child Rights Promotion, Gender Equity activities and other
relevant activities into CDP programme in collaboration with CDP Managers

Assists advocacy and resource mobilization efforts of Country by preparing relevant
documentations
Reporting & Sharing

Prepare activity/ monthly/ quarterly/ annual report in collaboration with area or project managers,
coordinators, and SSD & OD officers in head office and CDP

Report to Operation Support Manager activities of OD Department from Head office and all
CDPs.
Qualifications











3 years experience in Community Development Project and management
Relevant degree in International Development Studies, economics, management or other related
field
Strong communication skills
Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management
implementing best practices
Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization
Demonstrated leadership and vision in implementing major projects or initiatives
Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
Computing skills_ Word, Excel, Power Point
Strong critical thinking
Advanced English, Burmese(Korean or Japanese skill both verbal and written is more preferable)
Physical requirements
This position is administrative and it is anticipated that the incumbent be able to meet normal physical
requirements.
