We offer an unlimited
amount of information,
because if we don’t have
the information that you are
requesting then we will do
our best to find it for you.
There are many individuals
that don’t have the time
and/or skills to search and
explore like we do. We
search the internet and
magazines; we network via
email and telephone. We
are constantly researching
for our clientele, as well as
to gain personal knowledge
to better suit your needs.
Although the majority of
our in-house information is
based on the top areas of
recreation and relaxation,
both local and international,
we can assist you in any
area of travel you are
seeking.
Ticketing is based on
contracts that are negotiated
by the United States Army
Family and Morale, Welfare
and Recreation headquarters
on behalf of the military
communities. Special rates
are available to all members
of the military communities,
including active and retired
military, members of the
National Guard and Active
Reserve, DoD civilian
employees, and Family
Members. Although many
attractions offer government
discounts to military when
purchased on location, only
tickets purchased through
Leisure Travel Services are
guaranteed to go back to the
Soldier through the Family
and Morale, Welfare and
Recreation program.
Reservations can be made
for any hotel wherever you
need it. International airline
reservations can also be
made through us as well as
domestic. Although we are
not an official airline
agency, we are here to help
when you need it and will
offer that service as
requested. Fees may apply.
One of the many questions
asked is “do you offer
standard packages” and the
answer is no. Many internet
companies offer packages at
incredible rates, but when

Most major cruise lines offer
military discounts. These are
usually the best rates going.
Where else can you unpack
one time and see up to four
different destinations in one
week? You can make it a
weekend getaway for as little
as three nights or take a
longer seven night cruise
around the Caribbean. This
is also a great way to go
island hopping in Hawaii
when you have a limited
schedule.
There are also full service
spas, fitness centers, and
casinos. Kids’ programs on
board offer age appropriate
activities, movies, games, etc.
as well as teen-only discos
and deck areas on board.
Norwegian Cruise Lines
offers seven night round trip

Sea World Entertainment Parks Offer FREE Admission
for “Hero’s Salute” Promotion
Any active duty, active reserve,
ready reserve service member or
National Guardsman is entitled
to free admission under the
“Here’s to the Heroes” program.
He or she need only register at

As many as three direct
dependents of military personnel
are also entitled to free
admission.
Valid for one complimentary
single-day admission per person,
per year, to one of the following:
Anheuser-Busch Adventure
Parks: SeaWorld Orlando, San
Diego, or San Antonio; Busch
Gardens Tampa Bay or
Williamsburg; Sesame Place;
Water Country USA; or
Adventure Island. Not valid at
Discovery Cove and Aquatica.
Busch Gardens Williamsburg,
SeaWorld San Antonio, and
Sesame Place are seasonal
operations that will remain
closed until spring of the current
year. Military personnel
interested in visiting those parks
should check operating

FAQ’s
Do you book airfare?
We are not an airline ticketing
agency; however, we can assist in
finding the best rates with the
airlines directly. We can book
international air (outside the
United States/Canada) with one of
our consolidators, provided the
travel originates within the United
States.
Do you sell concert tickets or
local event tickets?
We may be able to get special
military discounts for a few events;
however, most concerts and shows
will only be available through a
particular venue or ticketing
agency. Please check with us for
any possible discounts.
Why can we sometimes get a better
rate on our own rather than going
through Leisure Travel Services?
If you are here for the Soldier why
are we, at times, charged more?
Leisure Travel Services strives to
offer our military community the
best pricing possible. It is true
some vendors may have a "better
deal." However, we encourage our
clients to research all conditions
and policies involved in the
package. We are personally here to
answer any questions regarding
your booking and handle any issues
that may come up. We do have a
convenience surcharge on our
attraction tickets, however all
monies go toward the MWR
program and Soldiers’ quality of
life here on Fort Campbell. In addition,
due to contract negotiations, some
attractions may have a better military
discount at the door rather than our rate
here in the office. We do let our clients
know how to get the best available rate.
Is my purchasing through the Leisure
Travel Services Office really better for
the military family?
Purchasing through the Leisure Travel
Services Office insures you have
someone working to get you the best
rate and all components of your
purchase are accurate. Also all income
from packages, tickets, etc. is returned to
support your MWR Activities here at
Fort Campbell.

An Armed Forces Recreation Center (AFRC) located in
Central Florida, the newly expanded Shades of Green is
one of two AFRC locations in the continental U.S. The

The resort is designed to provide R&R for our nation's
brave Service Members, their Families and certain other

When planning your vacation please be aware of the leisure passport requirements. Visit
www.travel.state.gov to find out what you need to know before you travel.
To obtain a passport for the first time, you need to go in person to one of over 9,000 passport
offices. You must bring passport photographs of yourself, proof of U.S. citizenship, and a
valid form of photo identification such as a driver’s license. Please be sure to verify all
requirements before visiting a passport office.
You’ll also need to apply in person if your expired U.S. passport is not in your possession;
if your previous U.S. passport has expired and was issued more than 15 years ago; if your
previous U.S. passport was issued when you were under age 16; or if your currently valid
U.S. passport has been lost or stolen.
All family members traveling outside the U.S. must obtain a passport prior to travel. Active
duty cannot travel leisurely on an official passport. Active Duty Soldiers planning to travel
to foreign countries for R & R should visit the DoD Foreign Clearance Guide at
http://www.fcg.pentagon.smil.mil for required documents for that particular country.
