On any given day, anyone in our house, from the oldest to the youngest may enjoy the half-mile walk to the South
along Long Beach Boulevard to Harvey Cedars, a quaint town that plays host to The Plantation Bar and Restaurant,
Harvey Cedars Shellfish, Neptune Market and Liquor Store, Black-Eyed Susan's Cafe, Foodie's Take Out and so
much more. We love this town because it is so accessible and has absolutely everything we may need in a pinch,
including some of the best seafood on the Island.
Grab a bike and turn right out of our driveway and follow Long Beach Boulevard four miles to the tall red and white
obelisk ... That would be Old Barney, as in one of New Jersey's iconic Lighthouse fixtures. The beacon sits at the
Northern tip of LBI and anchors another quaint Jersey Shore town called Barnegat Light. Head to BL for great
fishing, a spectacular view of Barnegat Inlet and souvenir shopping at Andy's Bait and Tackle. Make sure to stop by
a family favorite, Kubel's, a classic, salty, old Fisherman's bar and restaurant and try the classic crab cakes.
For decades, our family has enjoyed the Long Beach Island Foundation for the Arts and Sciences, less than two
miles from our house, for everything from marine biology and arts classes for the kids to Mom's pottery studio. Be
sure to check the papers in late July for the Foundation's Arts and Crafts fair. It's spectacular.

About the owner: Welcome to 15C our beloved beach house. Mom, Dad and the four kids moved into the house in
1980, enjoying our summers and all our free time here. Today, the family has grown to 21 strong. 15 C is a special

Why the Owner Chose Beach Haven, NJ, USA:
More than 50 years ago, our parents spent their honeymoon in Loveladies at our dad's uncle's house. For all its
seclusion and beauty, they fell in love with the area and in 1968, they built a house on the bay for four wily kids.
One day in the late 1970's, our dad took off for a walk and came home a few hours later with a strip of land (bay to
boulevard) about 1/4 mile away from our house. On the beachfront stood a 1930's Triplex home. A few years later,
Dad had the house split into two, one piece he moved to the boulevard, where we refurbished the frame and lived
in for a year, and the other piece he put on a flat-bed truck and wheeled it down The Boulevard for a friend to
renovate. For nearly one half century, our family has grown from the original 'Miller Six Pack' to nearly a case of 21
strong. We heartily enjoy all that Loveladies offers ... Private, white-sandy beaches, a short walk to Harvey Cedars'
dining and shopping and a wonderful view of Old Barney ... and mostly the time we spend together.
