SELECTION SLIPS
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO
The new DAILY GRAND selection slip package will be shipped on Wednesday,
October 12, 2016, to arrive starting Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the same time as
your new Quick Pick Packages signage material and the Planogram for Selection
Slip placement. Please note that the Selection Slips and Quick Pick Package POS
will arrive in two separate shipments despite being shipped the same day.
Please place the new DAILY GRAND selection slip in the Lottery Table and/or
Plexi Holder on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 according to the Planogram that will
be provided with the Packages Point of Sale material. Planograms will also be
available for reference located on BCLC’s Retailer Hub.

What is DAILY GRAND?
DAILY GRAND is a new twice a week national lottery
game. Tickets go on sale on October 18, 2016 with
the first draw on October 20, 2016. The top prize is
$1,000 a day for life and the second prize is
$25,000 a year for life.
On what days will draws be held?
DAILY GRAND is drawn every Monday and Thursday
with tickets available until 7:30pm PT. Information
about winning numbers will be available on
bclc.com.
How will DAILY GRAND numbers be chosen?
DAILY GRAND draws will be made with a
computerized draw system that uses a Random
Number Generator (RNG).

with 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 main numbers.
Could the same number appear as

Yes. If one or more of the five main numbers is from
1 to 7, it’s possible that the same number could be
drawn as the GRAND NUMBER.
Why doesn’t the top prize grow when it’s
not won?
• DAILY GRAND was designed to offer a “set” top
prize—$1,000 a day for life, or a single payment
of $7 million.
• The annuity prizes on DAILY GRAND are intended
as a true “for life” prizes and last for the life of
the winner.
• There’s no set maximum on the length of
the payments.
• But there is a minimum of 20 years for
annuity payments.
• If a winner passes away before 20 years have
passed, their beneficiary will receive the
commuted value of the remaining payments for
the balance of the 20 years.
Can DAILY GRAND top prize and second
prize winners receive a single cash
payment, rather than the annuity?
• Yes. The top prize for matching all five main
numbers and the GRAND NUMBER offers a single
payment option of $7 million.
• The second prize for matching all five main
numbers, without the GRAND NUMBER, offers a
single payment option of $500,000.
What happens if more than one selection
wins the top or second prize on a draw?
• The annuity option won’t be available to
multiple winners.
• Instead, the winning selections equally share the
cash prize—$7 million for the top prize category
and $500,000 for the second prize category.
• The DAILY GRAND top prize is always the same,
even if it was just won on the last draw.
• For example, if there are two winning selections
in the top category, each will be entitled to
$3.5 million.
• The top prize isn’t dependent on build-up from
previous draws.
Can the winner give the annuity prize to
someone else or sell it?
• All the other prizes on the game are also set
amounts.
• No. The winner can initially choose a beneficiary who
will receive the balance of the prize if the winner
passes away within the first 20 years of the annuity.
