Incident: Assault 1st (Shooting)
Location: 4200 block of Virginia
Date/Time: 3/13/17 @ 03:30
Victim: 34-year old black male
Suspect #1: Black male, dreadlocks
Suspect #2: Black male, slim build
Officers were requested to a hospital for a victim of a shooting. The victim stated he met
with the suspects in the above location to purchase marijuana. During the transaction, the
victim became unsettled and began to run away from the suspects when he heard
gunshots and was struck in the leg. The victim was conveyed to a hospital by a friend
who had fled prior to officer arrival. He was listed as stable. The victim was
uncooperative with the investigation and changed his story several times. The
investigation is ongoing.
Incident: Assault 1st (Cutting) (Domestic)
Location: 2700 block of S. Grand
Date/Time: 3/13/17 @ 01:40
Victim: 31-year old black male
Suspect: 27-year old black male
Officers responded to the above location for a call for a domestic disturbance.
Investigation revealed the suspect stabbed the victim, who he is in a relationship with,
with scissors during the incident. The suspect was taken into custody on the scene. The
victim was then located and conveyed to a hospital where he was treated for puncture
wounds to the back, head and a minor injury to the face and listed as stable. The scissors
were recovered. The investigation is ongoing.
Incident: Assault 1st (Cutting) (Domestic)
Location: 5600 block of Kennerly
Date/Time: 3/12/2017 @ 15:46
Victim: 18-year old black female
Suspect: 38-year old black female
The victim advised that the suspect, who is a family member, stabbed the victim in the
neck with a knife after an argument. The victim was conveyed to a hospital where she
was treated and listed as stable. The suspect fled the scene prior to officer arrival and is
wanted. The investigation is ongoing.
Incident: Assault 1st (Shooting)
Location: 1300 block of Lasalle
Date/Time: 3/12/17 @12:30
Victim: 26-year old black female
Suspect: 42-year old black male
Officers responded to a call for “shots fired” in the above area but were unable to locate
the victim. Approximately an hour later, officers were then requested to a hospital to
meet a victim of a shooting. The victim stated she had been shot by the suspect, who she
is in a relationship with, after a dispute inside their residence. The victim was treated for
a gunshot wound to the foot and listed as stable. The suspect was placed wanted. The
investigation is ongoing.

Date/Time: 3/12/17 @ 06:50
Victim #1: 24-year old black male
Victim #2: 24-year old black male
Victim #3: 22-year old black male
Victim #4: 21-year old white male
Suspect(s): Unknown
The victims stated they were on the Musial Bridge traveling from Illinois to St. Louis
when unknown occupants of a silver sedan fired gunshots at their vehicle. Victim #1,
who was driving, stated he then lost control of the vehicle and crashed in the area of the
Riverview Circle. Victim #2 sustained a gunshot wound to the arm and was conveyed to
a hospital where he was treated and listed as stable. The other victims were not injured.
The investigation is ongoing.
Incident: Assault 1st (Shooting)
Location: 5800 block of Elmbank
Date/Time: 3/11/17 @ 23:20
Victim: 30-year old black male
Suspect #1: Black male, 18-28-years old, dark complexion, wearing blue jeans and
white shoes
Suspect #2: Black male, 18-28-years old, 5’8”-5’10”, thin build, dark complexion,
wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and black hat
Officers responded to the above location for a shooting and located the victim in the 5800
block of Selber Ct. suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest, back and arm. He was
conveyed to a hospital and listed in critical/stable condition. The victim stated he was
standing outside in the 5800 block of Elmbank when two occupants of a red sedan fired
shots from the vehicle, then fled the scene. After being shot, the victim fled to Selber Ct.,
where a resident called this department. The investigation is ongoing.
Incident: Assault 1st (Person Struck)
Location: 1551 S. 7th (Social House)
Date/Time: 3/11/17 @ 01:15
Victim: 44-year old white male
Suspect: White male, 40s, 5’11”-6’0”, approx. 200 lbs.
After the suspect was escorted out of the above establishment for causing a disturbance,
the victim attempted to confront the suspect as he was entering his vehicle. The suspect
then purposefully struck the victim and fled the scene; south on 7th St. The victim was
conveyed to a hospital and listed in serious/stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
Incident: Assault 1st (Shooting)
Location: 1700 block of Olive
Date/Time: 3/11/17 @ 00:40
Victim #1: 41-year old black male
Victim #2: 40-year old black male
Suspect: 47-year old black male
Officers responded to the above location for a “shooting” and upon arrival, located two
victims. Victim #1was suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm and Victim #2 was
suffering from a gunshot wound to the hip. Both victims were conveyed to hospitals and
listed as stable. Investigation revealed the suspect had shot the victims during an
argument that began inside a nearby establishment but culminated in the middle of the
street in the above location. The suspect fled on foot following the incident. A
description of the suspect was broadcast and officers located him at 18th and Pine and
took him into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
Incident: Assault 1st (Shooting)
Location: 8200 block of Michigan
Date/Time: 3/10/17 @ 22:35
Victim: 24-year old black male
Suspect(s): Unknown
The victim stated while travelling southbound on I-55, shots were fired from an
unknown vehicle, striking him. The victim drove to the 8200 block of Michigan, where
this department was contacted. He was conveyed to a hospital where he was treated for
gunshot wounds to the leg and chin and was listed as stable. The victim was
uncooperative with the investigation. The investigation is ongoing.
***UPDATE- The below victim’s next of kin has been notified and the victim’s
identification is noted below in red.
Incident: Homicide
Location: 5700 block of Acme
Date/Time: 3/8/17 @ 22:33
Victim #1: Jerome Fleweller, 66-year old black male of the 3300 block of Park
Victim #2: 17-year old black female (critical/stable)
Victim #3: 22-year old black female
Suspect(s): Unknown
Officers responded to the above location for a “shooting” and upon arrival, observed
Victim #1 unconscious inside a vehicle which had crashed into a light pole on Acme.
Victim #1 was pronounced deceased on the scene. Two additional victims, who were also
in the vehicle at the time of the shooting, were located at W. Florissant and Goodfellow.
Victim #2 was suffering from a gunshot wound to the calf and was conveyed to a hospital
where she was listed in critical/stable condition. Victim #3 was not shot but sustained
injuries from the accident. Investigation revealed the victims were inside the vehicle
when Victim #1 became involved in an argument with an unknown male suspect. As the
victims attempted to drive away, shots were fired. The investigation is ongoing.
