The campaign, supported by the Greater London Authority and the City of London, aims to tackle the number of alcohol-related incidents that the three blue light services respond to this December. Sign up to Eat, Drink and Be Safe Whatsapp alerts Get helpful video hints and reminders from the capital’s emergency services directly to your phone, when you need them most. Save the Eat, Drink and Be Safe number into your phone contacts 07899 782 640 2. Send a message saying “I’m in”, to the Eat, Drink and Be Safe Whatsapp number 3. Eat, drink and let us help you stay safe – you’ll receive your first video message soon. Please note: By signing up to the Eat Drink and Be Safe campaign, you are agreeing to receive information and alerts from London Ambulance Service, Metropolitan Police Service and London Fire Brigade via the Whatsapp messaging app. Alerts will be sent throughout the Christmas party season (17-31 December) on a regular basis.
