Strategic Plan Update
As we move forward with creaƟng a clear and
focused Strategic Plan for our Parish and School,
our steering commiƩee and consultants want to
inform you of the following.
•
Many people have given input.
•
We have listened and given great consideraƟon to your input. Thank
you for stepping forward to tell us what is on your heart and mind.
•
According to our feedback, people are happy to be a part of this
community and we are moving in a good direcƟon.
•
We are geƫng clarity and focus.
•
This plan isn’t going to be overly complicated and then end up
half-done and abandoned.
•
There is a clear sense of a strong desire for unity and fellowship.
•
We want to conƟnue building our new home together.
•
There will be more opportuniƟes for your input once a draŌ strategic
plan is developed.
We will conƟnue to keep you informed as we work to create a clear and
focused plan for our parish and school. Please keep this process in your
prayers.

ST. PAUL’S RESPECT LIFE MINISTRY
On Jan. 4, a baby boy was found in a laundry basket left in the vestibule of St. Paul’s Cathedral in Minnesota. An astonished custodian
discovered him as he locked up the church. The rector of the Cathedral baptized the infant while waiting for 911 responders. The new
little Catholic, christened Nathan John, has captured public attention
worldwide. The rescue of the baby draws attention to “safe haven”
laws in all 50 states. The baby’s story underscores the Catholic and
pro-life conviction that there are no unwanted children and speaks to
the sacredness of human life.
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
Attention all members of the Knights of Columbus! As a friendly reminder, please note our monthly meetings in your calendars:

MUSIC WORKSHOP
Come, to gather with the larger Catholic community of musicians to
"be fed," to be inspired and renewed in our dedication to liturgical
sacred music service, as well as to attend some helpful workshops to
help us all grow in our "craft." John Flaherty is a great pastoral musician and speaker, coming from LMU in California. It's so rare in Boise to have networking and resource opportunities, so please take
advantage of this and make a point to register early for this unique
event. https://comefill.eventbrite.com/ More information on the
Nazareth web site at nazarethretreatcenter.org
ST.PAULS’ MUSIC MINISTRY
St. Paul's music ministry is in need of two musicians for our weekly 5
pm Sunday mass. We are seeking a bass player, either electric or
string bass, and a bass vocalist. Qualified musicians will possess
above average ability in their craft; will be able to learn repertoire
independently and will be prepared to commit to weekly service.
Gratefully return God's charismatic gift of music to the Lord via regular service at mass. Contact Mike Schaller, 208-697-8236 or
[email protected]

on Sunday at the office to sign up. If you think this
ministry may be something you could help with in terms
of inviting families to participate in this wonderful
ministry for the mass you attend, please contact Mari at
the parish office.
