The commencement of the Tairua Harbour and Catchment Management Plan has been well supported by the communities and stakeholders that have a connection there. The success of this plan now relies on the continued partnership between the Waikato Regional Council and those with an interest in this catchment to ensure agreements and works are instigated. A newsletter is due to be mailed either December or late January providing an update on the Management Plan from Waikato Regional Council.
