27TH ANNUAL Mark Belling Cruise ABOARD THE OCEANIA MARINA FEBRUARY 24 - MARCH 8, 2018 Eleven Nights in Paradise Tahiti - Bora Bora - Moorea - Rangiroa Fakarava - Raiatea - Huahine M A RK BE L L I N G ’S PARADISE BEACH BBQ SIGN ATURE EVEN T THE MARK BELLING SHOW Weekdays 3PM - 6PM Dear Listener, Tahiti and the islands of the South Pacific are magical. Having been there twice on previous Mark Belling cruises, I can tell you that it is impossible to describe their beauty in words and that no photo or video has ever done them justice. My 2018 cruise will take us to this most beautiful part of the world in high style on a spectacular cruise ship from an elite line and at a price that offers the most compelling value of any of my cruises and this will be the 27th. This will be my first cruise ever with Oceania and I am thrilled they are part of my promotion. The Marina, our ship, is one of the line’s newest. Oceania is noted for exceptional on-board service, some of the best food at sea and a shipboard ambience that rivals some of the world’s finest hotels. The Marina is just large enough to offer lots to do and many dining options but intimate enough to traverse the small islands of Polynesia. I’ve reviewed the stateroom options available for my group and can tell you these are among the greatest cabins at sea. All of our staterooms have private balconies to enjoy the South Pacific and these spectacular islands and the service staff is world class. But as beautiful as the Marina is, the real sights will be on shore. We start our cruise on the island of Tahiti itself. Papeete is like a bustling small town and actually offers a bit of an urban experience while serving as a launching point for the rest of the island. But here’s the thing: Tahiti is the best known of these islands and it is stunningly gorgeous but all of the others are even more breathtaking! Bora Bora is the setting for the most beautiful pictures ever taken. The waters off of Fakarava are so pristine you can watch the marine life by just looking at the water. The island has rare birds and shellfish most of us have never seen. Raiatea has a reef surrounding the island that makes for incredible snorkeling and kayaking. You can feed sharks, visit a black pearl farm and see hanging oyster beds on the “garden island” of Huahine. I’ve saved the best for last. I’ve seen a lot of things in my 26 years of leading cruises to the most exotic places in the world but I have never seen a place as beautiful as Moorea. You will remember your day there for the rest of your life and you will vow to yourself that you will someday come back. In addition to the Oceania Marina and the islands of Tahiti, you get something else really beautiful: me. OK, beautiful isn’t the right word. You can decide what is. But seriously, we will offer a number of special events just for my cruisers that will not be available to the other passengers on the ship. We’ll have a private cocktail party, a mock radio show and several other events that will be fun and interesting. Best of all, you’ll be sailing with a large group consisting mostly of like-minded fellow Wisconsinites. People really do make lifelong friends on my cruises. Dennis, Peggy and Charlie Crull of Cruise & Tour will once again lead, guide and coordinate my cruise. There is a reason this company is the one that I have partnered with in all of my 27 cruises. They will make the planning for your trip a breeze, the logistics will be flawlessly executed and the personal attention second to none. They and their wonderful staff are especially great at helping first-time cruisers. We’ll be leaving Wisconsin February 24, right when the weather is still miserable and winter seems to be unending. We will leave the potholes and slush puddles of winter Wisconsin for tropical paradise. I’ll admit this cruise is beyond the means of many. But when you consider the ten-day length of our sailing, the astonishing itinerary and the prestige of one of the world’s greatest cruise lines, I consider the price for this cruise (which includes round trip airfare to and from Tahiti) to be the greatest actual value of any of my 27 cruises. If you’ve been on any of my previous cruises, my Tahiti 2018 cruise is the one to come back on. If you’ve been with me to Tahiti before, I know you want to go back. And, if you’ve been listening to me talk about these cruises for nearly three decades but have never gone on one, there is no better time to come aboard. I am very proud to have my name on this incredible cruise vacation. I hope you can join me and Cruise & Tour on this amazing cruise. Mark Belling TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT, CONTACT CRUISE & TOUR TODAY! No wonder the men of the HMS Bounty abandoned their ship in favor of basking on her shores. Tahiti is the largest island in French Polynesia and its urban center has much to offer visitors. Take a stroll through the new Jardins Paofai, watch the surfers on their longboards, marvel at Faarumai Waterfalls, the Blowhole, Fern Grottos or simply relax on one of Tahiti’s famous black sand beaches. Moorea, French Polynesia 7 PM 8 AM THE ISLANDS OF FRENCH POLYNESIA 5 PM Late PM Lesser known than her sister island Tahiti, you'd be hard-pressed to find better than this gem of an island. Breathtakingly beautiful, stunning landscapes await, from the verdant mountains to the azure lagoon and white sand beaches. Take a canoe ride through the lagoon; snorkel, scuba or helmet-dive the reefs, or hike up to the Afareaitu Waterfalls. Fakarava, French Polynesia Pure, pristine and dreamlike, the ecosystem of this gorgeous island is home to extremely rare birds, plants and crustaceans. Quaint villages, old coral churches and welcoming people are intertwined with a spectacular lagoon creating a paradise like none other in the world. TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT, CONTACT CRUISE & TOUR TODAY! Visit the pearl farms, dive with manta rays, explore the atoll's unique winery or just choose a calming respite on a pink sand beach. Bora Bora French Polynesia Majestic mountains sculpted by ancient volcanoes, a shimmering lagoon, sugary sand and a barrier reef dotted with tiny motu, or islets - welcome to Bora Bora, perhaps the most breathtakingly beautiful island in the South Pacific. Snorkel, swim with the manta rays or enjoy an outrigger canoe ride through the lagoon and its lovely coral islands. Raiatea, French Polynesia You'll notice the rich scent of vanilla the moment you step off the ship onto this stunning island, with its vanilla plantations scattered throughout. Visit one or two, visit a pearl farm, snorkel the clear waters of the surrounding reef, or take a kayak trip along the Faaroa River. Huahine, French Polynesia "The Garden Island" is filled with easily accessible pristine white beaches kissed by emerald waters; you can rent a bicycle and explore the island, take a boat to the hanging oyster beds to see the black pearl farm, or go on a shark-feeding excursion. “It’s Not Just a Cruise….It’s a Complete Vacation Done With Class and Style!” Mark Belling Although no two definitions of value are the same, true value is quite easy to recognize.
