Electronic technology includes devices and equipment such as: cell phones, computers, and tablets as well as communication tools including social media sites, text messages, chat, and websites. Examples of Ways Kids Bully Online Include: Sending someone mean or threatening emails, instant messages, or text messages. Excluding someone from a Facebook group, Facebook event or blocking their email, phone number for no reason. Blocking someone from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc. for no reason. Tricking someone into revealing personal or embarrassing information and sending the information to others. Pretending to be someone you are not. Creating a false Identity through another number or any social network. Catfish - a person who sets up a false personal profile on a social networking site for fraudulent or deceptive purposes How Should You Respond? Don’t react, responding to the bully only makes it worse Report Don’t the bullying to parents, or teachers participate Encourage others to stand up Solutions and Strategies Team Work • Help your parents • Help each other • Talk it out Things to Remember….
