Apple Picking Sequencing Cards

Apple Picking Sequencing Cards
Thank you for downloading these Apple Picking Sequencing Cards from Under
God’s Mighty Hand!
Going on a field trip to an apple orchard? The preschool and early elementary years are a prime time to develop
sequencing skills to begin understanding the concept of time. These simple apple picking sequencing cards provide
practice for budding sequencing skills.
How to use the cards:
This file includes one set of plain photo sequencing cards, one set of photo sequencing cards with text, and one set of text
cards.
Print out the photo cards you would like to use (plain photo or photos with text). Cut out each card individually. You can
use just these cards for a simple sequencing activity. Or, you can also print the text cards out, tape or glue the text cards
to the back of the photo cards or print on both sides of the paper to make the cards two-sided. Attach the paper to
cardstock and/or laminate the cards for prolonged use. Hand the cards to your child out of order and have them put them
in a row in the correct sequence. These cards can supplement a current study of apples or spur conversation about work
and sequencing.
The text cards have simple sentences with basic information about general terms for amounts. You can read these
sentences out to your child, or your child can practice reading aloud (for early elementary ages).
These cards are only to be reproduced for homeschool and classroom use. Thank you for sharing about these cards, but
when you do, please link back to the post on my blog (and not just this PDF file). The post link is: http://
