WPSA Christmas Bazaar
A huge thank you to all the parents, staff and children who gave up their time to help organise, set up,
clear up, run stalls, bake and entertain us at the very successful Christmas Bazaar. A grand total of over
£3500 was raised which will go towards funding some fantastic new resources for the school. The
children’s
own enterprising crafts earned them over £500 and the winning class was Sycamore class, who
raised £70. Each class will be spending their profits on learning resources for their class.
Gardening Award
Weeke Primary School has just been awarded RHS level 3 which is a fantastic achievement. A big thank
you to Claire Cook, Emma Cummins, Julian Stuart, Judith Beard and Louise Gale as well as all the parents
who have
attended our recent Groundforce days and of course the children of Garden Club who have all
contributed to this fantastic achievement. If anyone else would like to join in with the Groundforce team
rd
we would
love to hear from you. Next Groundforce day is 23 March 2013. Gardening Club will commence
again next March - notices to follow nearer the time.
