National Lottery Breach

A few weeks ago it was feared that 26,500 National Lottery accounts had been hacked. National Lottery say that their firm hasn’t
been compromised , and they say that the login details for players
must have been “stolen” from somewhere else. Although no money
was added or taken, there was some suspicion activity on fewer than
50 of them. The Information Centre said that they would launch a investigation. Camelot (National Lottery’s operator) did submit a breach
report, so someone did breach their systems but nothing was taken or
added so, in my opinion this does seem quite strange.
Camelot was aware of the problem on Sunday. "We are currently
taking all the necessary steps to fully understand what has happened,
but we believe that the email address and password used on the National Lottery website may have been stolen from another website
where affected players use the same details," said Camelot.
National Lottery thinks that the hack may have resulted in some
people’s personal information being hacked. "If there's 26,500 accounts here and they are saying the credentials are correct but they
didn't come from us, they still let an attacker log in 26,500 times," said
Troy Hun, a web security expert.

Today I am writing about a
game called Worms. Even though
it has one of the weirdest names,
it is a very addictive game. As it
can be played on console and PC, it
is full of fun weapons, outfits and
much more.

Minion Rush

Welcome back and today in
Scribbler I am writing about a
funny game called Minion Rush.
Minion Rush is a game where
you need to complete courses by
using jump, roll, switch lanes and
get power-ups to easily complete
levels to get jelly, then to complete the set of levels to get all
the jelly. Each collection of levels
are different maps and different
types of jelly. You can change
your characters to any person
that was in the movies Despicable Me 1 and 2 and minions. You
can also pick your own map to
compete against computers and
people who are online !
As with most games, you
can get on the leader board to
win special prizes. also can go
on missions to get vehicles to
Gru’s minions. You can use vehicles to also skip some levels.
There are a lot of types of jelly to
find and get to keep in mind. It
gets really hard! Now this is
about already half of the game so
I wont spoil it for you so, the final part to this game is that you
can get extra little minion star
combos whenever you see a minion and knock it down. You only
have about 3 lanes to move
around in and dodge obstacles.
So watch out! Minion rush
has had loads of updates. So now
there's loads to the game.

Alto’s Adventure

Alto’s Adventure is a game were
your reindeer escape and you have
to snowboard to get them back.
You have to play through different
weathers like rain, thunder storms,
sunrise and many more. Once you
start playing it will count how
many metres you go, if you get
2,300 metres you wake up a elder
who try’s to get you. My personnel
best is 10,391, in Alto’s Adventure
you get levels if you get to the
tenth level you get your second
character called Maya there are
five characters. You can jump on
bunting grinds and jump chasms
(chasms are basically two mountains that have a big DEEP hole
between the mountains). You can
do backflips and any other cool
things you can think of. Also you
have power ups like magnet and
hover feather. You can buy stuff
from the work shop like wings and
a reindeer horn which makes the
reindeers come like a tidal wave.
In the game you are playing in like
a snowy place like the Scandinavian country’s. Also you can jump on
rooftops of houses. The game is
created by Snowman and it is also
a platform game (a platform is a
like a phone or a iPad).

shooting game made by a Canadian company. This game gets you
a character and then you can buy
guns, gadgets, head, legs, body,
equipment and other good stuff.
You can play multiplayer mode

from the computer like Masked
Viper, Mike Hunter, Vulcan Dynamite, Rocket Crush and many
more. You can also play in different arenas like frozen bay, Palace
Gardens, Chinatown and Nocturnal Snowfall but there’s more
maps and the makers and
more maps to it depending
if it’s a special occasion .
The guns are supers cool
like machine guns, assault
rifles, M.I.B (Men in Black)
and Ghostbusters grenades
and guns and there are the
Elysium stuff. There are other
super characters which are harder to kill and have better damage

Eagle and other characters, you
can tell they are the super characters because they are big , bad
and outlined in yellowish gold.

All animals have a distinct feature different from other animals and
for the chameleon it’s camouflage. Being reptilian means that the Chameleon has scaly skin and cold blood.
A chameleon camouflages because of a reflective substance in
their skin, meaning that if they walk through grassy fields the colour reflected on their skin is the grassy green colour of the fields and if the
chameleon walks through a dessert it will turn sandy yellow like a dessert.
Chameleons mainly eat meat. But how they eat this meat is also outstanding, they shoot out their tongues to a maximum of 30cm and
catch their prey on the tip of their tongue. Chameleons also haver a
special type of saliva that means their tongues are extra sticky. Chameleons live in areas such as anywhere from Madagascar to India. They
live in grassland habitats or dessert habitats. Chameleons have the
greatest sight Of any reptile because of the structure of their eye their
eyelids are completely made up of scaly skin with a hole in the middle.
This keeps the chameleons eyes extra moist and able to see easily.
I hope after reading this article you

The animal kingdom is more
interesting then people think. Animals aren’t just creatures that live
on the earth ,but, however incredible beings, with each one being
different to the last.
The glass frog is possibly the most
extraordinary creature on earth,
it’s
ability

it’s internal organs! From it’s brain

transparent. Glass frogs live along

There top is lime green. Glass frogs

leaves the eggs vulnerable to parasites but it’s the safest option. If
they laid there eggs by a river, the
eggs would be good prey for animals. After being born the amphibian tadpoles fall into the area of
water underneath the leaf they
were laid on and begin there lives.

frog’s eats small insects like ants
that are found nearby the river, if
they can’t find any small insects,
they will eat nearby plants. The
glass frog is truly an amazing creature with an incredible appearance, they are wonderful to look at
and if you ever see one look at It’s
great body because it will provide
you with wonder.

This could be maybe the best character in the whole Harry Potter series and his name is Dobby, a free
elf. Before Dobby was a free elf he
was enslaved by the Malfoy family
who would beat him and punish
him but he secretly goes to Harry
Potter to tell him not to go to
school and this is how they meet .
Dobby becomes great friends with
Harry, he even gives Dobby clothes
( when you give a house elf clothes
they become a free elf) Dobby besides being a house elf for the malfoy family also worked in the Hogwarts kitchen in the book. But sadly all good things come to an end
and Dobby died. R.I.P Dobby, a
free elf. But now the facts, are in
the book and movie “The Deathly
Hallows”. The writing on his grave
was “HERE LIES DOBBY, A FREE
ELF”. He was born on the 28th of
June, the year is unknown. He is 3
foot, and obviously male. He died
but Dobby will always be remembered in our hearts. He died a valiant death protecting Harry Potter
and his killer was Belatrix the

It has a 8 litre W16 quadturbocharged engine which produces a whopping 1500 horsepower! What! If you don't know
much about cars that is incredibly quick. It does 0-60 in 2.5 seconds!
The exterior design is already
amazing until you find out, like
the Veyron, it has a fully carbon
fibre body making it indescribably light. Combine this with the
1500 horsepower you have a
beast of a car!
With stats like that you would already expect it would be worth
the hefty price. But you still haven't seen the interior. With leather
chairs and amazing steering grip
with a whole host of buttons to
play around with, this car is serious and fun at the same time1

another sport car. The Bugatti
Chiron will probably fall behind.

The FA cup is one of the most famous cups in the history of the
world. Its been going on since 1871 (that’s a MAD 146 years a century
and 46 years). While the FA cup still rolls on the Premier League is
starting the new season .
Now probably most of you readers now that the FA Cup accepts
clubs that can be in the premier league and other English league. The
FA Cup is sponsored by Emirates the plane company . The FA Cup trophy is a piece of silverware that weights a MASSIVE 6.3 kilograms
(that’s a lot for a trophy). The FA cup compared to the BP league trophy

chess tournament at Lochinver
House School (our school) and our
team played against lots of other
schools.
The way it works is that a
team of 4 would play another
team of 4 from another team and
then they would take down the
scores, and that would be 1
round. There would be 3 rounds. I
got some interviews and stuff... so
here they are.

Azrael

is awesome, he is Azrael. This
character has appeared in a lot of
media such as a show, 2 video
games and of course the comics.
Azrael would usually carry a
flaming sword in gold and red armour. Azrael actually was Batman, for a bit. The reason he was
Batman was because (spoilers)
Batman’s spine was broken due
to Bane. And Azrael took the
mantle as you can see in the mini
picture below. Sadly Azrael did
not have the cowl for that long as
he was breaking the moral code
for Batman. There are many incarnations of Azrael some not as
good as the others, in some he
is mysterious, unknown. But in
others his origins are known.
This type of change can be due
to The New 52 which was
caused due to Flashpoint (that
was a great story I recommend
you check it out). This change of
origins/character is very famous
an example of this could be The
Joker, he came from a genius to a
wacky goon to a criminally insane lunatic. But overall Azrael
can be seen through many incarnations and none of them are
better than each over but no matter what this character is awesome.

Imagine if you could just roll up your TV and watch it while in the car.
Imagine if you could roll up your desktop computer and take it wherever you go. Well that’s what a company called Plastic Logic is working on
now. Instead of regular LEDs (Light Emitting Diode) the wrap ‘n’ go
screens consist of OLEDs (Organic Light Emitting Diode). Before this the
transistors (the thing that tells the pixel to light up) had to be made on
glass sheets because the transistors were made up of materials like silicone. “What we’ve done is create a completely new kind of transistor
that’s made out of plastic — out of polymers in solution,” explains Cain,
one of the people working on the new technology. The transistors can
be printed onto a surface, so that they coat it, using a process that
takes place at room temperature. Plastic transistors can make displays
“virtually unbreakable”. You can drop them and they won’t break. The
displays can also be only a few cello-phone (they’re like cling film) layers thick. Plastic Logic’s transistor sheets are able to bend with curves
“well under 1 millimetre radius of curvature,” For you to understand
what that means imagine a really sharp pencil, and the point at the
end is 1 millimetre., and apparently they can bend to that angle without damage. But there are still some problems, like they will need
some sort of coating or barrier to protect the displays. In my opinion
this sounds really cool, and when they come to market, I hope I’ll be able to get one!

If you didn’t have a brain you
wouldn’t be here, reading this article right now, in fact you wouldn’t
be alive, in this article you’ll find
out about: the different parts of
the brain, how it controls you,
brain diseases and how to cure
them and the systems of the brain.
The human brain is made up of 6
min parts as shown in the picture
below, and these different parts
are made up of cells, neuron cells
(brain cells). The 6 parts of the
brain are: the frontal lope, this decides the difference between good
and bad and what is right, the temporal lope, which helps you here
and have a better idea of the surroundings around you, the brain
stem, which joins the brain to the
spine which helps you move, the
cerebellum which also helps you to
move, the occipital lope which
makes you see and the parietal
lope which makes you feel. To
move, your cerebellum sends a
message through the spine to the
body part you need to move.
Brain diseases can be from
anything such as Alzheimer to
Brain cancer some of these can’t
be cured however the ones that
can be cured are cured through
Surgery (physically changing the
brain by hand) or through special
medicine. The brain is a part of the
central nervous system which controls how the body moves, and the
neuro-immune system which helps
heal you , I hope you now know
about the brain.

A year ago a member of staff who
has played such an amazing role
here at Lochinver left. He had been
here for “thirty-three wonderful
years”, he is Mr Tindale.

Of course while he was gone
he did lots of travelling, he bought
a Motor Home and had a wonderful time. He also did lots of athletics and golf, and he doesn't have
to wake up at 6:15 in the morning!
Overall Mr Tindale was a great
deputy head and teacher and I am
sure everyone would love for him
to come back and teach again!
