Hello Seniors completing Option #1 for your Senior Project,
Here are some updates for you to be aware of:
1. Please go to the following Google

and complete the questions about your project so far. This information is used to
determine your 6 week progress grade for Senior Project. This needs to be
completed by October 9, 2015 by 5 PM. There are no exceptions to this
deadline!
Please note the following for 6 week grading –
A grade =
You are actively working on your project, have a mentor and have worked with
(called, emailed, or physically met with your mentor) him/her at least twice so far
and your project is actively happening, you are gathering evidence, and you will
complete your project on-time.
C grade =
You are slow at getting started on your project and may not be working as you
should with your mentor to get your project going. You’ve procrastinated on
deadlines you have set for yourself and you have limited evidence of doing
activities related to your project so far, BUT you plan to get things going and will
complete your project by the end of the trimester on-time.
F grade =
You haven’t started anything on your project and you do not have a
mentor. You have procrastinated what you need to do to get your project
started and going. You might get things going; but you have not set goals,
dates to complete project activities or even worked with who you need to in
order to get your project started. You feel you may not get your project
completed by the end of the trimester on-time.
2. The Senior Project Evidence portfolio details is now ready and can be found

Please note that all evidence for your project MUST be submitted electronically
to me with a minimum of 6 pages (see Senior Project Evidence Portfolio
document for details). If you have items you want to share that can’t be
captured electronically, you would need to bring these items to F115 by
November 10, 2015.
3. Make sure that you check the Senior Project – Option #1 page for updates and
reminders.
4. Have you checked the grading for option #1? If not check out the Senior Project
web site – Option #1 to see how you are graded.
