Around Town
We can boast of some of the finest walking trails around. Recently Radnor Trails
was voted the Best Place to Walk or Hike in the Radnor Area. It is located at 304
Liberty Trail in Wayne. Amenities include ample parking, walking/exercising trails,
and picnic areas.
Close Runner Ups Include:
 Skunk Hollow Park, located at 600 Darby-Paoli Road in Villanova, on more
than 93 acres of land. Some of the land is undeveloped, while the rest of
it has hiking and walking trails. Little Darby Creek runs through the park
and fishing is permitted.
 The Willows, located at 490 Darby Paoli Road in Radnor, on a 47-acre
estate, is home to The Willows Mansion, and boasts grills, fishing, picnic
areas and hiking trails.
All of these parks/trails are minutes away from us. Why not enjoy the next few
weeks exploring the natural trails and beautiful fall foliage up close and personal?
Happy Trails!

Are you planning or thinking of adding new pet? We all know pets can be a
wonderful addition to any family. But while you are in the planning stage, please
check with us at the office…Some of the pet rules have changed, for example:
we only allow new pets on the first floor, we have breed restrictions and pet fees,
and there are specific areas for walking your pet. So, let us help you welcome
your new companion without breaking any rules.
Light Bulbs: BEWARE!
Please dispose of your old CFL light bulbs properly; the contain mercury, which is
extremely toxic. If you cannot dispose of them on your own please bring them to
the office and we will take care of it for you. And if you ever drop one and it
breaks, DO NOT use a vacuum to clean it up – that will only disperse the
mercury into the air in your home. Open the windows, leave the room for 15
minutes, shut off the air conditioner, and gather the following items: a piece of
cardboard, some tape, some damp towels and a glass jar or Ziploc bag. Then
collect all the broken glass and powder, place them in the container, and put it
directly into the outdoor dumpster. Then, if practical continue to leave the
windows open and the AC off for several hours.
