Red Nose Day Friday 13th March 2015

Dear Parents,
Red Nose Day
Friday 13th March 2015
This year we are really excited to be raising money for Red Nose Day 2015! As one of the
UK’s biggest fundraising events, Red Nose Day brings the entire nation together to do
something funny for money.
Pinchbeck East Church of England Primary School has decided to get involved and help
raise money for this incredible cause.
To do our bit and raise money on Friday 13th March we will be:

Having a ‘Wear what makes you happy day’. So whether it’s bright and beautiful,
crazy hair, funny faces or just your comfy clothes, make sure you’re wearing a smile!
For this honour please bring a donation for Red Nose Day.
 Selling cakes at break times and at the end of the school day so please send money
with your child or at the end of the day if they would like to buy one. Please also send
any donations of cakes to be sold on Friday morning.
 Attached is a ‘Funniest selfie’ competition. Please fill in and return to the school office
by Friday 13th March.
And, the best bit is, this Red Nose Day, the UK Government is going to match all money
raised by UK schools to help get 300,000 children in Africa into school and education. To

We will also be using Red Nose Day as a teaching opportunity so that our students can learn
about the issues children across the world face, and how the money we raise can help them.
We really appreciate your support and hope that you’ll have fun helping Pinchbeck East
Church of England Primary School raise lots of money for Red Nose Day!
Yours faithfully,
Mrs Goddard and The School Council
