I am truly enjoying my students. I am so proud of the progress made thus far. I have been thinking of different ways to help my students with their Math facts. I wanted this type of “rote” learning to be FUN! So we have been trying different activities and have been using different educational websites to help us through the process. I would like to share two websites with you: multiplication.com mathplayground.com Math Playground is an action-packed site for elementary and middle school students. It allows students to practice Math skills, play logic games and so on. It also allows students to build their keyboarding skills! There is even a cool video that goes through the „tricks and trade‟ of learning multiplication facts. Please check it out! As we move through the school year I will be adding more fun websites to our list. Curriculum Night next week… Please make every effort to attend West House Curriculum Night next Thursday, September 20, 2012. If you are unable to do so, please let me know so that I can prepare a package for you. The packages will be placed in your child‟s communication folder (Friday Folders) on Friday September 21st.
