Submit a 3 minute video on the contest theme -
"What Does the Reformation Mean to Me?"
The Protestant Reformation is a turning point event in world history. The Reformation is religious, historical,
cultural, global, and a major reason for the settlement of the United States. Create a video that captures the meaning
of the Reformation to your life and/or the life and experience of your family or perspective of your family's heritage.
Contest Rules:
1. Create a video of up to 3 minutes (additional time is allowed for your name and credits).
2. Include your name, school, grade in school, and acknowledge the people who helped you at the end of your video.
3. The opening of your video must include the title, your name and email, and your school.
2. Email the Application Form with your video to [email protected]
3. Include a statement of what you learned about the Reformation as part of the production of your video.
4. Send your video as a .mov or .mp4 attachment to [email protected]
5. All videos remain the property of the NJ District with the right to publish them online. You, your parent,
principal, and/or pastor will be asked to sign a Media Release Form if your video is selected for our website.
6. The contest is open to the public (international students may also enter) and entries may be received independently of
a church or school affiliation.
Contest Rubric: (Development of Theme (30%), Creativity (15%), Reflective Statement (20%), Application to
one or more of the teachings of the Reformation (20%), Integration of one or more quotations (15%) Visit our

Awards: There are 3 awards of $100, $75, and $50 for the top three entries. Winners are announced in January.
Contest Deadline: All work must be received by November 30, 2015.
