Assistant Inspector General, IGMC, conducted operational readiness assessments of USMC units worldwide.
Conventional & Strategic Command and Control (C2): Have conducted C2 functions and training at all
levels of operations, strategic, operational and tactical. Nuclear C2: Mission Commander Airborne
Nuclear Command Post, Europe, Nuclear Force Advisor to Commander U.S. Forces Europe, responsible
for all theater nuclear C2 planning and execution. Responsible for training all Flag officer theater nuclear
force advisory staff.

As a Professor of Practice in the College of Information Sciences and Technology (IST), my primary teaching and
course development focus is in the area of intelligence analytics, decision theory and scenario & case study
development to promote and teach Security and Risk Analysis (SRA) in the College of IST SRA program.
The primary research focus is in the area of human-centered hard and soft information fusion research. My role as
NC2IF Center Director includes the leadership and management of a permanent research & support staff and the
hiring and mentoring of graduate and undergraduate researchers that support Center activities. This effort
requires the continuous interaction with internal and external research partners to seek out research
opportunities, develop proposals, and when awarded, ensure compliance with sponsor research goals and
deliverables.
Primary Tasks Include:

President, Naval Discharge Review Board, Office of the Secretary of the Navy – Responsible for staff functions
and administrative law processes to determine whether a service member's discharge was granted in a proper
manner and was fair and equitable considering regulations in effect at the time of the discharge. Conducted over
1000 Navy/Marine Corps discharge reviews annually.
Director of Investigations and Director of Inspections, Office of the Naval Inspector General for Marine Corps
Matters. Duties involved the oversight and management of IGMC senior-officer investigations and the
assessment of programs of interest for the Commandant of the Marine Corps and the Secretary of the Navy as
directed. Conducted IGMC Readiness Inspections and Assessments for all major USMC commands world-wide
focusing on both unit and combat readiness.

Freedom-1. Established and directed JTF-North Command Post for OIF-1 to facilitate onward movement of U.S.
military forces across Turkey for combat operations in northern Iraq during Phase I of OIF-01.
