Confidential 1 Overview This doccument provides the details on how tekVizion has created SIP Trunks to the Centurion IVR system for testing. The document focuses on the configuration procedures need to setup the SIP Trunks to Centurion IVR system. 2 Test Setup Diagram SIP Profile Used to Create Trunk Group to IVR system: Default ITSP SIP Profile Used to Create Trunk Group to CO: Default ITSP 4 tekVizion PVS, Inc. Confidential Equipment used for configuration setup: ShoreTel 13.0. 3 Create SIP Trunk to IVR system The steps below show the configuration to be made on ShoreTel Director to provision SIP Trunks to the Centurion IVR system. Create User Group 3.1 o Navigate to Users > User Groups > Add new o Set Name: Centurion User Group is given for this example. o o Select COS-Telephony: Fully Featured is selected from the pull down menu. Select COS-Call Permissions: No Restrictions is selected from the pull down menu. o Select COS-Voice Mail: No Mail Box is selected from the pull down menu. o Check Send Caller ID as Caller’s Emergency Service Identification(CESID). o Check Send DID as Caller’s Emergency Service Identification(CESID) o Select Account Code Collection: Disabled is selected from the pull down menu. o Check if Outgoing Trunk Groups (access Codes): At this point to time the Trunk groups are created, so once the Trunk group is created come and verify if Centurion Trunk Group (8) is checked. Confirm all the rest of the options in “User Profile”, “Phone Application”, “Ring tone is: None which are set by default. o o All the other parameters are set to default. 5 tekVizion PVS, Inc. Create Trunk group 3.2 o Navigate to Trunks > Trunk Groups. o Select Add new trunk group at site to Headquarters. o Select of type to SIP. 6 tekVizion PVS, Inc. Confidential o Click Go. o Set Name: Centurion Trunk Group is used for example. o Confirm Enable SIP Info for G.711 DTMF Signaling is unchecked. o Select Profile: Default ITSP. o Set Digest Authentication: None o o Set Number of Digits from CO: 4 Set DNIS: Checked. o Set DID: Checked. o Click Edit DNIS Map: Add all the extension that it is allowed to transfer to. o Click Save to apply changes. 7 tekVizion PVS, Inc. Confidential o Click on “back” button in the top left corner of the browser to get back to trunk group configuration. o Confirm Extension: unchecked. o Set Tandem Trunking: Checked. o o Select User Group: Select your User Group from the pull down menu. Centurion User Group is used for this example. To create a User Group refer to Create User group section. Set Destination: 1700 is given by default. o Set Outbound: Checked. o Set Access Code: 8 is used for this example. o Set Local Area Code: This code depends on the given DID range. 214 is used for this example. o o Set Trunk Services: Set Local: Checked. o Set Long Distance: Checked. o Set International: Unchecked. o o Set Caller ID not blocked by default: Checked. Set n11 (e.g. 411, 611, except 911 which is specified below): Unchecked. o Set Emergency (e.g. 911): Unchecked. o o Set Easily Recognizable Codes (ERC) (e.g. 800, 888, 900): Unchecked. Set Explicit Carrier Selection (e.g. 1010xxx): Unchecked. o Set Operator Assisted (e.g. 0+): Unchecked. o Under Trunk Digit Manipulation: o o Set Remove leading 1 from 1+10D: Unchecked. Confirm Remove leading 1 for Local Area Codes: Unchecked. o Confirm Dial 7 digits for Local Area Code: Checked. o Confirm Dial in E.164 Format: Unchecked. o Edit Off System Extensions: should contain a list of unused extensions that will be referenced with the IVR Route Point. o All the other parameters are set to default. 8 tekVizion PVS, Inc. Create Individual Trunks 3.3 o Navigate to Trunks > Individual Trunks. o Select Add new trunk at site: Headquarters from the pull down menu. o Select trunk group: Centurion Trunk Group is selected from the pull down menu. o Click Go. o o Set Name: Centurion Trunk is given for this example. Select Switch: SG220T1A is selected from the Pull down menu. o Set IP address: Should point to the IVR. This is the IP address of the Centurion IVR server. Please use the actual IP address of the IVR server in your network. The IP Address used in this configuration is 10.65.1.15. The IVR system IP address may/will be different from this example. 9 tekVizion PVS, Inc. Confidential o Select Number of Trunks: Must be equal to the number of voice channels to the IVR. o All the other parameters are set to default. o Click Save to apply changes. 3.4 Create Route Points o Navigate to Call control > Points. o Select Add new. o o Set Name: Centurion Route Point in this example. Set Extension: 5005 in this example. o Uncheck DID Range. o o Select User Group: Select IVR User Group from the pull down menu. Set Route Point Server: Headquarters. o Set Call Stack Depth: 3 in this example. Should be equal the number of channels on the IVR, but not more than the total number of calls that will come in from the outside. Set Call Handling: o o Set Call Forward: Always to external number previously listed in the Off-System Extension Range in the Trunk group added above. o All the other parameters are set to default. 10 tekVizion PVS, Inc.
