FROM OUR PASTOR
I find that I am always saying thank you to so
many of you for all that is being done here at
the parish. With this said; I want to thank so
many of you for all that you did to make the
annual parish rummage sale a success. If
you donated something for the sale: Thank
you! If you volunteered to set up and present
the items to be sold: Thank you! If you volunteered your time during the sale: Thank
you! If you spent time pricing all the items:
Thank you! If you helped to provide food for
our visitors: Thank you! This list can go on &
on; and as we can see we have many to
thank for another successful rummage sale.
I am pleased & happy to share the benefits of
having an event like a parish rummage
sale. It raised more than enough money to
help pay for a few new items & projects for
the parish. With the monies raised we will be
purchasing a new air conditioning unit for our
church chapel. Along with this; new table linens will be purchased to help give St. Joseph's Hall a new & refreshing look. And; we
were able to purchase some new landscaping
materials to help dress up the flower bed near
the South West church entrance. These may
seem like tiny projects; but as we all know the
cost of projects like these do add up. How
fortunate we are to have events like the rummage sale to help support the cost of these
projects here at the parish.
Thanks again to all who were able to help provide these gifts to the parish!
Have a blessed and holy week!
Fr. Chris

Service
The pillar of service is an opportunity for the parish to put into practice the other three pillars; hospitality,
prayer and formation. True stewardship parishes practice all four pillars, with Jesus Christ as the model and
the foundation from which the pillars arise.
