Embedding Videos into Discussion Forums in Sakai This instructor tutorial for Sakai shows how to embed a video into a Discussion forum. This will work for any video site that provides an embed code. If you are working with the FLRC on a project, such as using student interviews or student presentations, the FLRC will provide an Embed code for you. If you have any questions about this, please contact the FLRC for more information. 1. Login at http://sakaipilot.unc.edu 2. Scroll down until you find the “Discussion Forum” link on the left hand side. 3. Click on the discussion forum you wish to use. 4. You may now create a topic by clicking “New Topic.” 5. Type in a subject and a message for the topic. 6. Click on “Source” in the message body toolbar. 7. In this example, we will use Youtube. Go to the youtube video page, click the “Customize” button next to the Embed code if you would like to change colors or customize the video.
