Disinfecting DeVilbliss Suction Equipment
Every day:
• Empty the collection bottle, rinse it, wash with hot soapy water, rinse again,
air dry and replace it on the machine.
• Rinse the 6-foot tubing after each suctioning with vinegar water or wash it
with soapy water, rinse and return to the collection bottle.
Weekly:
• Empty the collection bottle, rinse it, wash in hot soapy water, rinse again
and soak in 1 part vinegar and 3 parts water for 1 hour, rinse and air dry,
then replace it on the machine.
OR
Place a new collection bottle on the machine and discard used one.
• Wash the elbow in soapy water. rinse, soak in 1 part vinegar and 3 parts
water for 1 hour, rinse, air dry it, then replace it on the machine.
• Wash the 6-foot tubing in soapy water, rinse, soak in 1 part vinegar and
3 parts water, rinse and replace on the machine or throw it away weekly if
you prefer and put a new 6-foot tubing on the collection bottle.
Every 2 months:
• Change the filter on top of the collection bottle.
• Discard the elbow you have been using and replace with a new one.
• Wash 4-inch tubing in soapy water, rinse it, soak it in 1 part vinegar and
3 parts water, rinse, air dry, and then replace it on the machine.
