Last Call for Fall - 10th Anniversary

Last Call for Fall (LCFF) is a not-to-be-missed event for the Chicago Real Estate Industry. This is CREW
Chicago's big charitable event which raises funds to support CREW Foundation in creating opportunities for
women and girls to achieve economic and professional success through programs such as CREW Careers
and CREW Scholarships. Every year since 2003, this event has been held in one of the most exciting
venues in the city and offered surprises, fun and valuable networking opportunities.
As CREW Chicago’s signature fundraising event, LCFF attracts nearly 200 people, both members and non
members, throughout the commercial real estate community. In addition to providing guests with the
opportunity to network while enjoying cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, the event featured a silent auction, a
Thanksgiving-themed centerpiece design competition between some of the city’s leading architectural and
design firms, and other exciting surprises. But all the fun supports a greater goal: raising funds for the
educational efforts of CREW Chicago and CREW Foundation to help support our mission of advancing the
power and success of women in the industry. Working with 22 colleges, our Scholarship Committee
selects the best and brightest young women pursuing graduate and undergraduate degrees in real estate
and awards up to three $3,000 scholarships. CREW Network has awarded more than 35 $10,000
scholarships over the past 4 years. The CREW Chicago scholarship recipients were recognized at the Last
Call for Fall event.

This year was no different! Last Call For Fall took place on Thursday, November 14, 2013. We
celebrated the 10th anniversary of CREW Chicago's Annual Fundraiser for CREW Foundation and
Commercial Real Estate Education and Scholarships with Drinks, Hor d 'oeuvres, Silent auction, and a Call
for Fall Design Challenge. Discounted parking was provided at The AON Center Building by Jones Lang
LaSalle Management and Standard Parking.
This year, Last Call for Fall took place in the amazing Baker & McKenzie Conference Center at the top of
the BlueCross BlueShield Building at 300 E. Randolph, showcasing incredible views of the Chicago skyline
and Millennium Park. Designed by the renowned architectural firm Goettsch Partners, the firm’s awardwinning conference center includes 17 meeting rooms that can host groups from four to 300, a Zen-like
reflecting pool, advanced A/V capabilities, and breathtaking views of the city. In October 2012, Crain’s
Chicago Business magazine named Baker & McKenzie’s offices as one of the “coolest offices” in the city.
