For your October book report project, you will choose any fiction or
non-fiction chapter book (at least 100+ pages) to read. Using the
main character or narrator as inspiration you will:
1. Decorate a 2-­‐liter soda bottle in the likeness of the main character or narrator. 2. Write the name of the character, title of the book, and author on an index card to be turned in with your bottle. 3. Write a three paragraph summary of the book where you describe the setting of the book in the first paragraph, summary of the plot in the second paragraph, and finally, in the third paragraph a description of how your chosen character has developed throughout the story (e.g. how have they changed emotionally/physically, lessons they have learned, etc). 4. Your Literature Day costume should match your bottle project!!! Do not wait until the last minute to finish your project! Set daily and weekly goals for yourself, and make sure you fulfill them. If you have any questions, be sure have them answered, and with plenty of time left to complete your project. The project due date will be Thursday, October 29th.
