WCPA Welcomes
New Teachers
FALL 2015
STUDENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Analisa Koenig has joined our school as a violin
instructor! Analisa is replacing Lauri Koenig (her sister)
as Laurie is getting married and moving away to new
adventures. Analisa has many years of teaching and
performing experience and we are glad to have her join
our team!
Caitlin Brutger will be giving piano instruction for us,
bringing passion (and lots of smiles) to her lessons! She
was a student of Dr. Wirth many years ago and is now
back in the area building her own studio. We love to see
our past students become teachers of their own!
Emily Schmidt is a lady of many skills! She will be
offering lessons on voice, guitar, ukulele, AND piano!
She will also offer combo lessons, so if you want to play
piano, guitar, or ukulele while singing, Emily is the
teacher for you!
d
A stunning "Congratulations!!" Goes to WCPA
graduate Reed Tetzloff, who was one of the top 12
pianists at the prestigious Tchaikovsky
International Piano Competition in Moscow this
past June. Pursuantly, he returned to Minnesota
and thrilled us all at the WCPA Young Artist
World Piano Festival with an appearance and talk
about his experience. Thank you, Reed for
carrying our banner throughout the world!! Reed
is currently working toward his masters degree at
the Mannes New School of Music in New York
City with renowned pianist and teacher Pavlina
Dokovska.
d
Another big "Kudo" goes to another WCPA
graduate Leo Wexler-Mann, who was awarded a
staff accompanist position at the Juilliard school in
New York City. Leo, who received his BM in
Piano Performance from the Juilliard this past
spring, will now be using his collaborative skills to
enhance the performance of others at this most
famous of music schools!
d
We are also so very proud of yet another WCPA
alum Colton Peltier, who has just begun his
masters degree in piano performance at the
Juilliard school. Four years ago, Colton and Leo
represented a full 1/6th of the total matriculating
class of freshman Juilliard pianists!!
d
A huge "Congratulations" and "Bravissimo!!" goes
to WCPA student Aaron Fagerstrom, who
performed the first movement of Schumann's
Piano Concerto in A Minor with the Festival
Orchestra this past July, having won the concerto
competition at the Young Artist World Piano
Festival in July.
d
“Way to go!!” goes to 8 year old pianist Eliana
Szabo, a finalist at the Young Artist World Piano
Festival concerto competition, and performer in
the Honors Recital there, who performed also at
the beautiful home of Tom Schmitt on the St. Croix
River in August. Eliana received a standing
ovation from the audience of mostly professional
musicians. WOW!!
d
A big “Bravo!” goes to pianist Joseph Caswell (11
years old) who represented the WCPA as he
performed so beautifully at the St. Cloud State
Convocation on September 25th. His 50 minute

We are glad to welcome these three talented young
ladies to our teaching family! They have many spots
open in their studios and they look forward to sharing
their love of music with new students.
Remember, ANYTIME is a good time to add music to
your life! We have students of all ages starting lessons
every month throughout the year, so you don't have to
wait until the beginning of a semester.
If somebody you know is thinking of music, please send
them this email. I would love to bring them in to tour our
beautiful school! and THANK YOU, as your referral is
the highest praise we can receive!
