We have had another eventful and
jam-packed month of learning! I would
like to thank our parent volunteers for
taking their time to come and help out
with our in-school fieldtrip. Students
had the opportunity to explore liquids
and discover their properties of water
to understand the concept of
evaporation, condensation, freezing
and thawing.
In math, students are also learning about
number stories and adding and subtracting
numbers to 18. The students have been
looking at fact families and seeing how we
can make 4 number sentences while only
using the same 3 numbers.
In Spanish we just finished learning about
clothing vocabulary and began learning
about community vocabulary.
In language Arts we will continue our
Author study on Robert Munsch as well as
looking at Valentine’s Day theme and
friendship books. We will continue to work
on identifying the parts of a story, retelling
and writing stories that go with our theme.
