absent to make up the assignment, not counting the day they return (ex. Student is absent for 3 days, student will have
3 days to make up the assignment)
IF an assignment is late, then the student may turn in assignment, but will lose a minimum of 5 points per day
IF a student is absent it is up to the student to get make up work for the “daily work” folder which is stationed beside
the door
Grade Recovery* (updated 1/4/17)
The purpose of this is to give the student an additional opportunity to show that he/she has mastered the standards of
unit. This will only be permitted on tests. This is a privilege, not a right; therefore, this is at the discretion of the
teacher. The following rules apply:
1.
2.
3.
In order to be eligible to re-test, the student must have completed all unit assignments prior to the original
test date
Student MUST get parent to sign the original test AND make test corrections in COMPLETE sentences with the
correct answer on a separate sheet stapled to the original test. *
The highest the new grade can be is an 80/B (Any grade over 80 is entered as 80 & any grade lower than 80 is
entered as that grade)
