The Blobfish is a deep sea fish of
the family Psychrolutidae. It
inhabits the deep waters off the
coast of mainland Australia and
Tasmania, as well as the waters of
New Zealand. They are usually
shorter than 30 centimeters. They
live about 600 meters to 1,200
meters below
sea level. The
flesh of the
Blobfish is a
gelatinoustype mass with a density slightly
less than water. Due to its low
density flesh, the Blobfish’s shape is
very different when it’s out of
water. Its anthropomorphic and
unappealing looks have created
much discussion in media outlets.

Located in the “corridor”
between the towns of Cabo San
Lucas and San Jose del Cabo,
this resort has the largest beach
retreat in Los Cabos, with more
than 300 rooms and one of the
largest hotel pools in Mexico.
This resort costs $328 a night so
this may or may not be the
place to go if you’re touring
