Some people say that they are copies of By Landon LaCross The Blobfish is a deep sea fish of the family Psychrolutidae. It inhabits the deep waters off the coast of mainland Australia and Tasmania, as well as the waters of New Zealand. They are usually shorter than 30 centimeters. They live about 600 meters to 1,200 meters below sea level. The flesh of the Blobfish is a gelatinoustype mass with a density slightly less than water. Due to its low density flesh, the Blobfish’s shape is very different when it’s out of water. Its anthropomorphic and unappealing looks have created much discussion in media outlets.
