Class Descriptions
Ab Attack
This session concentrates on strengthening and toning the Abdomen and
surrounding muscles. Easy, medium and harder options are provided throughout.

Leisure
Aqua Aerobics
Exercise to music in waist or shoulder level water. A low impact workout with very
little stress on joints. Suitable for all abilities including pre and post natal mothers.
Please note that buoyancy belts are provided for deep water sessions.
Beginner Zumba Dance
This is a latin inspired, calorie-burning, dance fitness party workout. Every single
dance will be broken down slowly step by step, so that it is easy to follow.
Box Circuits
A total body workout which focuses on boxing basics. A high calorie burning
highly effective muscle defining class.
Cardiac Rehab
This is a referral only class. Please speak to reception for further information.
Circuits
A challenging total body workout that helps improve strength, stamina and
aerobic fitness in one session. This class is suitable for all levels of fitness.
Core Stability
This class helps improve core muscles which help with posture and back
strength.
Express Total Body Workout
If you want a really effective total body workout but have limited time then this
is the workout for you. Completed in just 30 minutes you will work every muscle
group helping to reduce inches and tone all areas!
Fitness Yoga
This class consists of a flowing sequence of stretches to improve flexibility, posture,
balance and relaxation.
Fitsteps
Ever wanted to dance like the stars from Strictly? Here’s your chance, Fitsteps
combines the best of Ballroom along with aerobics. Fun energetic routines
taught in a line dance style so there is no need for a partner. Suitable for
beginners and anyone who loves to dance.

Kettlebells
A Kettlebell class offers a different kind of training using dynamic movements

Group Cycling
This class involves a workout on a static bike and may include hill climbs and
sprint formats. The intensity can be adjusted to suit the exerciser so is suitable
for all abilities. Set to music this class is great for burning fat and will leave you
feeling energised and de-stressed!

Total Body Workout
Conditioning moves for an all over body workout. Improve muscle tone, balance
and strength with this low intensity resistance workout. A gentle but effective, fun
approach to exercise.
Yoga
A Classical Yoga session consisting of Asannas (postures) to increase flexibility,
strength and improve posture. Breathing and relaxation exercises will reduce
stress and bring about a sense of balance and well being.
Zumba
Take salsa, cha cha, samba, tango, add hints of flamenco, calypso, hip hop and
belly dancing, put it in a workout routine and you have Zumba! This total body
workout can burn up to 500 calories per hour!!
Zumba Toning
This latin inspired dance ‘n’ tone workout is exhilarating, challenging and
effective. We use light hand weights to burn extra calories and target all the
major muscle groups!!! It is a complete total body session with a fun party
atmosphere!
Class Type
Our classes are open to everyone and cater for all fitness levels as you can
work at your own pace. We do allow children aged 11 - 15 to attend any of our
workout classes. Children must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years.
We only permit 2 children per 1 adult.
We have colour coded our classes as follows
Red - High intensity workout that will raise your heart rate, burn calories and
improve aerobic fitness.
Orange - Conditioning workout designed to improve strength and tone muscle.
Yellow - Dance based workouts.
Purple - Lower intensity workouts designed for those new to exercise, over 50’s
and those with limited mobility.
Green - Holistic classes that help improve flexibility, posture and general well
being.
