Course Description: This course deals with the study of literary forms in the different periods of development of English and American Literature. IV. Course Objectives: At the end of the course, the students can: A. Cognitive (Knowledge) : 1. Identify English and American authors and their corresponding contributions to literature. 2. Discuss the works of these authors and relate these to real life by transforming them into meaningful experiences. 3. Present a formal analysis of the selections. 4. Compare identified selections. B. Affective (Attitude) : 1. Give importance to the works of American and English authors by showing appreciation and internalizing the values acquired from their writings. C. Psychomotor (Skills) : 1.
