Sunshine Band at Collingwood Downs - We will hold a Sunshine Band service at
Collingwood Downs this afternoon, April 27, 2013 at 3:00pm. Please make plans to
be a part of our church group who will go to bring some cheer and Christian love to
our friends at this location.

family, of the St. John's Church, at the sudden and unexpected death of Joan "Sue"
Morgan on Saturday night past. Please keep this family in your prayers at this very
difficult time.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Newfoundland and Labrador is looking for
a Camp Maintenance Person. The position is a temporary position from May 20 to
August 23, full time 40 hours per week. The accepted person must be experienced
and competent in completing various maintenance tasks (electrical, plumbing,
carpentry, mechanical, etc.)and have his/her own tools and transportation. The
individual must be able to work unsupervised and oversee a student helper for 6
weeks. Please provide your work experience and references to the Mission office

Celebrating Life in Recovery - Cheri Peters was on drugs at 11, pregnant at 12, and
homeless at 13. It seemed she was destined for a short and miserable existence, by
then God stepped in. How? Is there hope also for you? Come find out. “Miracle from
the Streets” on Friday, May 10, 7pm, and “The Addictive Personality” on Saturday,
May 11, 7pm. Programs with Cheri Peters taking place at the Johnson Geo Centre,
175 Signal Hill Road, St. John’s. Admission is free and all are welcomed.
