SPRING WORKSHOPS
Saturday, February 23 @ 10 am
Welcome Spring into your homes with a new twist to
our popular Spring bulb planter. Cheerful Spring bulbs
are arranged in a unique, natural container. The twist to
this unusual planter is no soil is required. An additional
planter of beautiful bulbs will be created for your enjoyment.

This is not a typical Watering Can arrangement. Many
requests have been made to own this adorable pooch.
This cute puppy is fashioned with grandma's favourites …
chrysanthemums, carnations and various other foliage
and flowers.

Let your Child’s imagination soar as they recreate
a classic folktale “Jack in the Beanstalk”.
Planted amidst a beautiful garden, your child
will be amazed as this enormous beanstalk grows.

Join us in creating a luxuriant topiary arranged in a beautiful container with a variety of succulents, air plants,
moss and dried pods, giving it added depth and texture. This is a long-lasting, easy to maintain piece to be proud of.

One of the most popular workshops! Enjoy the blooms all summer long from your custom planted 18" moss hanging
basket! Coordinate your basket using a variety of summer favourites, such as million bells, unique annuals, grasses
and vines. We will care for your basket in our greenhouse till late May/June.

This class is for those of you who have nodded off and have an overwhelming desire to avoid Lisa's lengthy spiel,
on how to plant a stunning summer garden. This workshop is recommended for those who have a clear knowledge
of plants or have attended a past BYOC workshop. We will have a brief discussion on the latest plants and trends.
Bring in your empty containers, choose your plants and create your very own creative planters. These containers will
be placed in the greenhouse until late May/June and looked after with TLC. The cost of the workshop is $10/person.
The cost to plant up your containers is $2.00/inch for round containers and $1.25/inch for window box style
containers.
*$10 deposit is required per class. A Watering Can store credit will be issued if you cancel within 48 hours
of your scheduled workshop. Only registered guests are permitted into the workshops.

The best from both our traditional and contemporary pieces are combined to make a stunning design.
This arrangement will certainly be the focal point to your holiday table. Come out and enjoy the wonderful
world of floral designing. No experience necessary!

Welcome your guests with this not so typical clay pot wreath. Various sized terracotta pots are strategically placed,
wired and planted in a circular pattern. Beautiful spring bulbs and various other plants will bring life to this new
design.

A variety of rare, unique and fascinating plants will enhance this very different arrangement. Pitcher plants, known
as carnivorous plants use their tube-shaped leaves to trap and digest insects. Look through the glass to view these
impressive plants at work. They add an unusual element to this design. To be enjoyed all year around.

We welcome Grandmothers, Mothers, Daughters, Granddaughters,
Aunts and any special ladies to join in creating two beautiful arrangements. The first piece is a stunning floral arrangement
contained in a delightful teapot, overflowing with an abundance of colourful fresh flowers. The second piece will be a
planter to be enjoyed outside. Ages 0-100 are welcome! Sign up early to avoid disappointment as this workshop fills
quickly. Price is $39.00 a person for both pieces. Please note: Everyone coming into the workshop must be
a paying guest. Girls ages 0-4 are free - we will have something fun for them to make.
