The shooter starts standing behind the table, hands on your pistols. The shotgun is staged on the table along with the shells, and the rifle is staged on the hay bales. The shooter indicates ready by saying the line: Esto Perpetua! At the beep, with each pistol Idaho Shuffle Sweep (1-3-1-2-3) the pistol targets. Move to the hay bales. Idaho Shuffle Sweep the rifle targets twice. Make rifle safe. Move to the table and knock down the shotgun fallers and snakes in any order, loading from the miner’s pan. Make shotgun safe. At the beep, pick up your rifle, and shooting through the window, place ten shots on the rifle targets, shooter’s choice, but all targets must be engaged at least twice. Make rifle safe. Pick up your shotgun and move to the table. Place ten pistol shots on the fallers and pistol targets, shooter’s choice, but the pistol targets must be engaged at least twice. You may knock down any remaining fallers with your shotgun in any order. Make shotgun safe. R1 Tall R2 Med. Shooter starts standing behind the right table, hands on your pistols. The shotgun and rifle are staged on the left table. At the beep, Double-Tap Nevada Sweep (ex: 1-1-2-2-3-3-2-2-1-1) the pistol targets starting with any target. Move to the left table. Engage the TS and the square in an alternating pattern with your rifle for 10 shots, starting on the TS. You may pick up any remaining TS fallers with your shotgun. R1 Tall P2 Tall P1 Med P3 Med Stage 4 – Insurance By Okie Sawbones You can buy insurance on this stage with your shotgun. It is required that you shoot the two outside shotgun targets, but you may also shoot the two inside targets for insurance against two rifle or pistol misses on this stage only. You cannot get negative credit. You will need 10 rifle, 10 pistol and 2+ shotgun shells. The shooter starts standing behind the table, with both pistols holstered. The shotgun is staged on the table, and the rifle is staged in the partner. The shooter indicates ready by saying the line: AFLAC!! At the beep, pick up the shotgun and knock down the two outside fallers in any order with as many shots as necessary. You may shoot the two inside fallers for insurance. Make shotgun safe. Move to the partner. Pick up your rifle and Hermit Joe Sweep the rifle targets (1-2-1-3-1-4-1-5-1-6), and make rifle safe. Move to the buffalo, and put 10 shots on the four pistol targets, shooter’s choice, but each target must be engaged at least twice. R3 Med R4 XTall R5 Med T F F T R1 P1 Short F F P2 Med P3 Med P4 Short Stage 5 - Plates By Okie Sawbones You will need 10 pistol, 7 rifle (plus any needed reloads), and as many shotgun shells as necessary. The shooter starts standing behind the camp fire with a coffee cup in both hands. The rifle is staged on the right table and the shotgun is staged on the left table. The shooting box is from table to table. When ready say, “Did you wash those plates?” At the beep, drop the coffee cup, retrieve your rifle, and engage the rifle knockdown targets once each. They must go down to count. With your last loaded rifle round, engage the bonus target for a five second bonus. A hit is a bonus, and a miss is not counted as a miss. After engaging the bonus, you may reload as many rounds as you need to make up the rifle misses, but you may only reload one time. You may not make up the bonus. Make rifle safe. Retrieve your shotgun and engage the four shotgun targets in any order with as many shells as necessary. Make shotgun safe. With your first pistol engage the three pistol targets on one side in a Nevada Sweep (ex: 1-2-3-2-1) starting on any target, then with your second pistol engage the three pistol targets on the other side exactly the same as your first pistol. P1 Short Stage 6 – Choose Your Tombstone By Okie Sawbones You will need 10 pistol, 10 rifle, and as many shotgun shells as necessary. The shooter starts standing behind the longhorn cow holding the rifle. The shotgun is staged on the longhorn. When ready, say, “Let ‘em fly!” At the beep, engage the rifle knockdown targets. They must go down to count. Dump any remaining rounds on the rifle side target. All rounds on the side target count as a one-second bonus, but a miss is a miss. Make rifle safe. Retrieve your shotgun and move to the window. Through the window, engage the shotgun targets in any order until down. Move to the table and engage the cowboy popper, then shoot the pop can flyer. If you miss the flyer, knock down the make-up faller. Make shotgun safe. Lawrence Welk Sweep (1-2-2-3-3-34-4-4-4) the pistol targets, changing pistols as necessary. P1 Short P2 Med. P3 Short P4 Med. Move to the table. With your first pistol, alternate 4 shots on P1 and P3, then shoot P2. A hit on the clay bird is a 5-second bonus. With your second pistol, alternate 5 shots on P1 and P3. With your shotgun, knock down the shotgun fallers and snakes in any order. Make shotgun safe. R1 P1 S F P3 F S R3 Stage 8 – Arkansas Shuffle By Okie Sawbones You will need 10 rifle, 10 pistol and 4+ shotgun shells. The shooter starts standing behind the table, with both hands on your pistols. At the beep, Arkansas Shuffle Sweep (1-1-2-3-3) the pistol targets from either end. Repeat exactly. Move to the partner and Arkansas Shuffle Sweep the rifle targets twice through the window, exactly the same as your pistols. Make rifle safe. Move back to the table and knock down the fallers Outside-Outside-Inside-Inside with your shotgun – you do not have to cross over. Make shotgun safe. R1 R2 Med. R3 P1 F F P3 F F Stage 9 – Texas Star, Part II By Okie Sawbones You will need 10 rifle, 10 pistol, and as many shotgun shells as necessary. Shooter starts standing beside the left table, hands on your pistols. The shotgun and rifle are staged on the left table. The shooter indicates ready by saying the line: Cowboys! At the beep, engage the TS with your rifle until cleared. Then engage the shotgun fallers with your rifle if any rounds remain, then dump the rest on R1 if any rounds remain. Make rifle safe. You may pick up any remaining TS or shotgun fallers with your shotgun. Move to the right table and Double-Tap Nevada Sweep (1-12-2-3-3-2-2-1-1) the pistol targets from either end. The shooter indicates ready by saying the line: Wildcat! At the beep, 10 on 4 the pistol targets, shooter’s choice, but all targets must be engaged at least once. Move to the partner. Pick up your rifle and Wildcat Sweep the rifle targets (23-4-1-5-1-5-2-3-4), and make rifle safe. Move to the table and knock down the fallers with your shotgun in any order. R4 R2 R3 F F R1 P2 P1 F F P3 P4 Stage 11 – Plates, Part Deux By Okie Sawbones You will need 10 pistol, 9 rifle, and as many shotgun shells as necessary. The shooter starts standing behind the camp fire holding the money bag. The rifle is staged on the left table and the shotgun is staged on the right table. The shooting box is from table to table. When ready say, “I hate dishes!” At the beep, carry the money bag with you to the left table, retrieve your rifle, and engage the rifle knockdown targets until down. Dump any remaining rounds on the diamond rifle target. Make rifle safe. Take the money bag with you to the right table, retrieve your shotgun and engage the four shotgun targets in any order with as many shells as necessary. Make shotgun safe. With your first pistol engage the three pistol targets on one side in a Sawbones Sweep (ex: 1-2-2-2-3) starting on either end, and then engage the three pistol targets on the other side with your second pistol exactly as the first pistol. You do not have to use the money bag if moving with your pistols. R1 Xtall P1 Short P2 Med. P3 Short S S S S (Possible to double) P3 Short P2 Med. P1 Short ‘Stage 12 – Split that Shotgun By Okie Sawbones You will need 10 pistol, 10 rifle, and as many shotgun shells as necessary. The shooter starts standing by the longhorn cow. The rifle and shotgun are staged on the longhorn. When ready, say, “Split ‘em!” At the beep, engage the rifle knockdown targets in the following manner: engage a tombstone faller then engage R1, and repeat. Make rifle safe. You may make up any tombstones with your shotgun. Retrieve your shotgun and move to the window. Through the window, engage the shotgun targets in any order until down. Move to the table and make shotgun safe. Dynamite Sweep (1-1-1-1-2-3-4-4-4-4) the pistol targets, changing pistols as necessary. Knock down the two shotgun fallers in any order. Make shotgun safe.
