A UK charity has called on kids to think
up the next big digital idea, days after an
American teenager invented a superfast
phone-charging gadget!
Make Things Do Stuff was launched by Nesta at an
event in London yesterday (30 May). Apps, games,
websites, and other internet inventions are created
all the time. This Government-backed campaign is
trying to encourage young British people to be a part
of the online revolution.
The news comes after Californian schoolgirl Eesha
Khare revealed her amazing invention at a top
global science fair. The 18-year-old has created a
contraption that lets people charge their phones in
just a few seconds! Experts from web giant Google
are thought to be interested in buying Eesha’s idea.
Chancellor George Osborne was at the Make Things
Do Stuff launch yesterday, checking out the ideas
