Visit hippos Saturday morning! About 5 miles north
of downtown core area.
A wacky 90-minute land/amphibious tour that gives
you a unique overview of Seattle. Located a couple
blocks from the Space Needle.
1-hour, narrated, no food served
Free with dinner reservation; located in the
Seattle Center complex which also houses the
Pacific Science Center. * The Space Needle is one
mile north of the downtown core area.
74 acres surrounding the Space Needle. Has mini
golf, carnival rides, museums, theaters, and more.
An interactive music museum, including a “ride” and
a music lab where you can play instruments.
Directly next to the Space Needle. Also has a
restaurant.
Takes a group of 40+ to get a mention on the
scoreboard during the game. Less than a mile
south of the downtown core area (“Sodo”).
Don’t miss the fish throwing; known for fresh
seafood and produce, but also lots of individual
vendor booths. The original/first Starbucks is
here. Downtown core area.
See ferries, shops, Ye Ol’ Curiosity Shop, the
aquarium * is there. The waterfront is not part of
the downtown core, but certainly within walking
distance if you cut through Pike Place Market.
