Bridge to open in June
Preview of glass panel design
New pedestrian link bridge to open in June
We look forward to when the station and new bridge is ready and open for use. Our contractors have been working well
and now with the bridge and concourse, new shelters and tar-sealed platform in place you can get a sense of how the
station will look when finished.
On the bridge we need to install the pedestrian lift, put up the glass side panels and complete the concourse wall. The
concourse cladding and glazing will incorporate artwork designed by MOKO IA Creative House. Below is a preview of
the panel design. On the platform, the shelters need to be clad and fitted out, and passenger information displays,
signage and additional AT HOP tag on and off machines are to go in. This work will be complete in June, which we
acknowledge is later than we originally anticipated. Until then we ask everyone for their continued patience using the
underpass.
Monitoring of noise and impact on neighbours, local businesses and passengers will continue.
Upcoming work
