W. smith’s Superstar Pep- Squad Meeting Agenda
 Coaches: Coach Williams and Mrs. Ballard
 Practice Time: Wednesday evenings in the school gym from 2:30- 3:30
p.m.
 Fee Requirements: $85 for returning members; $130 for new members.
The fees will cover the following:
New Members
 Uniform (skirt and Top)
 Bag
 Briefs
 Shoes
 Bow
 Socks
 Pom-poms
 Long sleeved shirt
Old Members
 Shoes
 Bow
 Socks
 Long sleeved shirt
Old members who need a new uniform it will be an additional $20 for
the skirt and $20 for the top (It becomes more expensive when the
package is broken up).
 Conduct Requirement: Student must have an A or B in conduct to remain
on the squad. If conduct drops the student will be dismissed from the
squad for the next quarter to allow student to improve her conduct grade.
 Academic Requirements: Students must complete assignments within her
class. If the teacher states that the student is not performing up to her
academic ability, she will first be warned in writing. Upon the second
offense, the student will not be allowed to perform for the next event.
 Demerits: Students will receive a demerit for each time she is picked up
from practice late; a demerit will also be given for every write up that the
student receives. After 5 demerits, the student will be excused from the
team with no refund. Students will not be able to perform until demerit
acknowledgement form is returned to Coach Kate or Mrs. Ballard
 Office Referrals: Student will not be allowed to perform after either their
first or second office referral. After the 3rd referral, the student will be
dismissed from the squad for the next quarter. During the leave, the
student should not receive any more referrals or a meeting with coaches,
parents, and student will be needed to decide the next course of action.
 Parent Participation: Participation is strongly encouraged to make this a
true success
 Parent/Chaperone T-shirts and Student T-shirts: Pep squad shirts will be
sold. While chaperoning and/or volunteering Smith Pep squad shirts must
be worn by students and adults in a presentable fashion (no alterations of
the shirts will be allowed). Also, unaltered jeans or pants will be required by
all chaperones.
