AFTERNOON OF CARD AND BOARD GAMES
Monday, May 2nd from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
The Powers Memorial Library and the Alice Baker Memorial Library are
co-sponsoring a Card and Board Game Extravaganza at the
Cornerstone/Palmyra Bowl (300 W. Main St., Palmyra).
Bring your own games as well!
THE GREAT LAKES
Tuesday, May 3rd at 6:00 p.m.
Lake Michigan. It, and its fellow four Great Lakes make up the world’s
largest freshwater system. Wisconsin Sea Grant’s Moira Harrington will
share some facts and information on recent research and outreach projects
related to the lakes.
MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU!
Wednesday, May 4th at 4:30 p.m.
We will be showing the most recent Star Wars movie this afternoon.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens. We’ll provide the movie and you can
bring snacks and beverages. Those that come in Star Wars costumes will be
entered into a raffle to win a prize!

We know sometimes it’s hard to
remember to return items on time, and
then the dreaded library fines pile up.
Therefore, we will be having an
Amnesty Week, May 16th- 21st. For any
item donated towards the Food Pantry,
you’ll receive $2 off your fine and any item
donated towards our MakerSpace area,
you’ll receive $5 off of your fine.
