Our Lord said: “The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will collect out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all evildoers …. She served for 3 years until her disguise was discovered. Can you name this African American enlistee? At first glance, Good Friday appears to be a misnomer. It seems inconsistent that the day of Christ’s crucifixion should in any way be described as “good.” But that seeming inconsistency vanishes when we understand that the ancient meaning of good was “holy.” The word holy is entirely consistent with the suffering and cross that Christ endured for us. Hence, Good Friday is also known as Holy Friday. 3) On December 14, 1944 Harriet Ida Pickens and Frances Wills became the first African American women to be admitted to _______________________________. 4) Please name the world famous gospel group pictured to the right.
