World Factory Inc.® Products for Home Use
World Factory, Inc.® (Seller) warrants to the original Buyer only, that this Product will be free from
defects in material and workmanship for a period of two years from date of purchase. SELLER’S
SOLE OBLIGATION AND BUYER’S EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY
SHALL BE THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF PARTS, WITHOUT CHARGE, WHICH ARE
DEFECTIVE IN MATERIAL OR WORKMANSHIP. ANY PARTS AS DETERMINED BY THE SELLER
WHICH HAVE BEEN MISUSED; ABUSED OR DAMAGED EITHER DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM
REPAIRS OR ALTERATIONS ATTEMPTED BY UNAUTHORIZED PERSONS; IMPROPER
MAINTENANCE, NEGLECT OR ACCIDENT ARE NOT COVERED BY THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. This
warranty does not apply to damage, heat-induced coloration changes, scratching or alteration due to
normal use or weathering. To make a claim under this Limited Warranty, you must return the complete
product with proof of purchase, transportation prepaid, to any World Factory, Inc.® authorized service
center. Call 1-888-424-3354 for the location of the nearest authorized service center.
Additional Limitations
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO ACCESSORY OR CONSUMABLE ITEMS,
INCLUDING BATTERIES, RELATED TO THIS PRODUCT. ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES SHALL BE
LIMITED IN DURATION TO TWO YEAR FROM DATE OF PURCHASE. IN NO EVENT SHALL SELLER
BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED
TO LIABILITY FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, ARISING FROM THE SALE OR USE OF THIS PRODUCT.

provision shall not affect any other provision herein, this Limited Warranty shall be construed as if
such invalid and/or unenforceable provision had never been contained herein.
This Warranty contains the entire agreement between Seller and Buyer and supersedes any and all
prior agreements, arrangements, or understandings between the parties relating to product warranty.

1. (SEE FIGURE 2) Temporarily hang solar
light assembly (A) on mounting hook.
2. Carefully attach each wind chime (B, C,
D, E, and F) to solar light assembly.
Loop small hook connected to each wind
chime onto small ring under top of solar
light assembly.
3. Place one wind chime onto hook attached
to connector at bottom of globe.
NOTE: The Wind Chimes vary in size,
and can be organized in any manner
and placed onto the solar light.
4. Hang the solar wind chime assembly
in desired location.

Care Instructions
1. Gently clean solar panels with a soft
cloth. Do not use abrasives or chemicals
to clean solar panels.
2. Gently clean solar lantern body and
chimes with gentle household cleaner
or laundry detergent, rinse well
with clean water.

NOTE: The rechargeable batteries are preinstalled from the factory. Before operating the
solar light the rechargeable batteries (H) need to be fully charged.

switch to the “OFF” position. Switch is
located under light top.

2. Place the assembled solar lantern in full sun,
away from streetlights or other light sources
where it will receive direct sunlight for at least
8 hours per day.
NOTE: Other light sources may fool the sensor
and keep the light from coming on,
or cause it to turn off automatically.

3. The batteries require at least 8-hours of full sunlight to charge. Once the batteries are fully
charged, place the ON/OFF switch to the "ON" position. The light will automatically turn on at
dusk and off at dawn.
NOTE: The number of hours light is illuminated is directly proportional to the number of hours
of sunlight it receives. If the light is placed in a shaded area it will not fully charge and reduce
the hours of night time light.

Battery Replacement
Carefully remove the contents from the package. If any parts are missing do not
attempt to use the product until they have been obtained and correctly installed.

NOTE: The batteries (H) in your solar
wind chimes come preinstalled
from the factory.
(SEE FIGURE 3) Place the On/Off switch
to the "Off" position. Switch is located
under top of solar light assembly (A).
Open the battery compartment cover.
Remove and replace the old batteries (H)
with new Ni-Cd batteries of the same
ratting. Install batteries using the
polarity markings (+/-) inside battery
compartment.
Replace the battery compartment cover.
Reference "Operating Solar Light" to restore
solar wind chimes to full operation
